Wonderful rental

We stayed here for a month. Condo was great, and beds were comfortable. Loved having the ocean views and walks on the beach! Chris and his staff keep the grounds and pools amazing clean! Hoping to stay here again!

The condo is family friendly, spacious and very clean, our stay was perfect in every way. We had a wonderful family vacation and enjoyed every second. We had a beautiful view of the beach and pool from our room. There are so many places to eat, shop and explore nearby. Our favorites are Rockin Tacos, Al’s Beach Club for lunch or dinner and the Gulfarium Marine Park made for a great family fun event. The Oasis coffee shop right next door was an everyday stop for us, delicious coffee with a great view of the beach. The shops nearby are great for souvenir shopping. Everything was perfect!

GREAT PROPERTY

This is our second time at this resort property, first time in this particular unit. Didn't disappoint, clean and plenty spacious. Big balcony to enjoy meals and relax. Beds were comfortable, AC good. Would definitelystay here again.

“May the Swartz be with You”

We planned a spontaneous getaway and booked the rental the night before our trip. The booking, check-in, and check out was convenient and simple. Chris was helpful and fast to respond. The place was very spacious and clean. Perfect location!

Nice but too small

The property was nice and the amenities were great - pools lazy River beach. However the property is quite a bit smaller than it appears to be in the listing pics.

Awesome Condo!

This condo was everything we hoped for. Super close to the beach and the resort itself was amazing! We had an issue with the washer and maintenance was on it super quick. The property was super nice and clean! We had a great time. 5/5 recommend.

Florida Perfection

We had a wonderful time!! It started out with us needing to come a day earlier. It was an easy addition and we were lucky that it was available. The easy access to the beach, parking, elevator and bridge makes this place the perfect spot! We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

July 4th week

We enjoyed the fireworks on Wednesday night! Love the 3rd floor walkway to lazy river bay side. Parking garage is a plus. Clean condo just like the pics! Overlooking very nice pool.

August 2024 vacation

Our family has stayed at Destin West for almost 15 years and LOVE EVERY BIT OF IT! One year Destin West was booked and we had to stay at another place. Never again! Destin West is so relaxing and easy going, not micro-managed like the other place. We will be back!!

WiFi & cleanliness

Location was great, pools were great and beach view was great! WiFi connection was fairly difficult to obtain on the television. Overall the condo was clean, but light fixtures, inside of closets and baseboards were very dust covered and dirty (not ideal with small children crawling).

Loved the building & the location.

Location was perfect. Loved all the pools (even though they was very cold). Alot of the outlets in our room didn’t work, and some of the lights didn’t work (shower light & the other bathroom light) the room above us on the above floor had a over flow of water & it leaked down through our bathroom, we called the building & got it taken care of since we so happened to be in the room when it started leaking. Over all it was great & definitely considering booking again for next year!

Very pleased

The condo was clean and ready to go upon arrival. The beds had nice comfortable mattresses. Unit is near a elevator, parking garage and garbage chute. The view from the balcony was excellent!! The bunk bed area and queen bedroom needs a room darkening shade to block out the light. We hung up towels to darken the areas. We would definitely come back.

Mostly great

The property is great. The location is prime. The amenities are ideal. But the kitchen is really hard. Its not outfitting for a group of 6-8. There wasnt enough silverware for us all to have a meal together. There wasnt all the basic kitchen items to make a meal without getting creative. Simple fix to make this an all around great rental.

Our stay was perfect! The location of the condo directly on the beach made for easy beach days. When we needed a beach break, the onsite resort style pools were so convenient. The condo was beautiful, very clean and had all the necessities. In-unit laundry was very helpful. All communication was excellent and you can’t beat the view from the balcony. The only things we found to be less than desirable had nothing to do with the condo itself. The resort requires wristbands to be worn at all times to move around the resort (and they do check these regularly). The wristbands cost 25 if you lose them; they’re loose on your wrist and I feared they would fall off my kids small wrists and be lost. also, the resort allows a beach chair/umbrella rental company to set up in front of the resort on the beach. Unfortunately, the rentals take up a majority of the beach frontage which leaves little room for guests if you don’t want to rent from them. Again- nothing to do with the condo itself or the management company. We were very happy with our stay and all communication. We would stay again!
