Return Stay

We stayed in the complex a couple years ago and enjoyed it so much then we decided to stay here again. It did not disappoint. My wife and I enjoy the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella. I did like the reserved parking this time. Facility is clean and the area isn't too crowded. We will most likely stay again in the future!

Loved the location!

Amazing view of the beach! Beautiful modern condo. We did have some issues with the cleanliness of the from when we arrived but it was immediately and professionally addressed. Would definitely recommend and we would use the same place over again!

Nice and neat condo. Beds slept good and bathrooms were just right. Enjoyed my week and would be happy to stay here again. Price was good. Good location. This condo had its own parking spot which was nice. Access to beach is ok. Pool is small.

Great Space

We have been to this area before and love the family atmosphere of Ft Walton. The condo was beautiful and fit our needs. If I have anything negative to say, it would be the tv setup and how the remote works. However, to me that’s a small issue when you’re at the beach. We had a small issue with the washing machine, but a quick call and someone was there and corrected the issue. We will definitely book this condo again.

Condo was dirty

Bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. I has to go buy cleaners and clean condo and bathrooms again myself. Linens were musty and smelly. Dirty towels left in hutch in bathroom. Unit smelled. Reached out to property manager, they got back to me the next day said they would send someone to clean it but by that time I had spent money on cleaning products and had already cleaned myself so we could use bathrooms and kitchen and by able to sleep on the linens.

The room (311) we stayed in was very nice and clean. Great view of the ocean from room. The parking space in the garage was a nice perk. No complaints!

Great unit but needs security

We rent a condo yearly at the beach. We have two young kids and like being able to walk out to the beach and let the kids play. This was our first time at Okaloosa and with this property. The inside of this condo was great! Very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had all the supplies we needed and the view was great. The screen door was broken and sat to the side of the balcony. This wasn’t a big deal to us. For the most part, the area contained families who were quiet, made small chit-chat while kids played and were respectful of others. Maintenance was seen on the property cleaning the pool every morning and kept the main entrance area clean. The workout room was closed and being worked on our entire stay. With that said - the property needs security. A man started beating repeatedly on our door one evening. There was no security to handle the situation and no one sitting at the front desk. The pounding continued on our door and the room next to us for about 30 minutes until I confronted the man. He stated his wife was sleeping in the next unit and locked him out. If I was his wife, I would have locked him out too! In addition, even though the unit is non smoking, and signs posted everywhere to refrain from smoking on balconies, the property isn’t smoke free. There was a chain smoker who constantly smoked by the parking garage and on the balcony. The heavy smoke sent my 7 year old into an asthma attack we couldn’t control on our own, and we ended up in the ER. Several times, another man kept smoking pot on the balcony so the pool area or parking garage reeked and parents would have to pull their kids out and go elsewhere. This same guy came out in a stooper several times and got way too close for my comfort. He had a selfie stick and would spend his mornings taking pictures of himself and making videos, getting way too close to kids staying he was a school administrator, had ADHD and then would start smoking pot on the balcony of the second floor. Again - security is needed before he ticks off the wrong mom who shoves his selfie-stick where the sun doesn’t shine until he chokes on his iPhone. I did call Barb with the property to discuss issues. She was polite and suggested I call the sheriffs office next time. I feel for the price I shouldn’t have to deal with the drunk next door who is fighting with his wife or the guy smoking pot right in front of kids at the pool.

Beautiful condo right on the beach!

The condo was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was awesome.! We did not turn the TVs on at all while we were there because there was so much to look at outside. Very relaxing vacation and we look forward to staying at this condo again in the future.

Family Spring Break

My husband, daughter (8), and I enjoyed our time at Pelican Isle. The view from the balcony was amazing. The condo was clean. It would have been nice to have hand soap and dish soap we had to go out and buy these items. We enjoyed the beach and the pool. The hot tub was usually overly crowded, so we avoided the hot tub. The beds were comfortable. Our daughter enjoyed having her own TV in her bunk. Overall we had an incredible stay.

Excellent family vacation

This was a beautiful condo and in an excellent location. It was a little bit away from the craziness of Destin but still close enough to go there for dining and fishing. We really enjoyed the beaches at FWB.
