Quiet and relaxing

My husband and I stayed here for our 19th anniversary. It was just a short weekend trip. The room was clean. We went and bought ice trays to stay at the property cause there was no ice maker or ice machine there, so our first day we had no ice. The parking is very convenient. Right by the elevator and stairs. Love having chairs and an umbrella already provided! Very few people and nice clean beaches.

Here’s our thoughts… Pros: Clean Quiet area and beach Reserved chairs and umbrella Large pool Plenty of linens Reserved and close parking spot Cons: Cheap and Minimal kitchen cookware Zero extras like coffee filters and dish wash detergent Pool bathroom had key code that was not provided. Ceiling Fan in kitchen didn’t work. All and all a nice place if you don’t plan on using the kitchen.

Anniversary Trip

The property looked exactly as the listing showed. The location is perfect! The pool and close access to the beach are exceptional. We love staying on the island, less crowds and not so busy. So relaxing! (the keypad was a little frustrating at first but finally figured the secret out to it working the first time you enter the code)

Beautiful beach

The beach/property wasn't crowded or loud. Everyone was very nice. The condo and grounds were neat and clean. We would have liked more choices for dining out, it was limited on the Island. Traffic due to construction at the bridge was a challenge at times so we bought food to eat in.

OK for me!

I’m an older, widowed guy who was travelling alone on a Florida/Georgia multi-stop trip. I know Destin well, but first time staying on Okaloosa. To summarize: Everything was perfectly fine for me alone, but were I travelling with my partner, I believe her expectations would have included a refresh of the unit itself - and a refresh of the kitchen appliances and utensils - even if that might mean some kind of increase in the rental rate.

Our stay at Emerald Isle on Okaloosa Island, Florida was absolutely fabulous!!! The condo was very clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, and had everything we needed! The king bed was super comfy! The short walk to the pool and beach was exceptional! Communication with the property manager was great! I highly recommend this sweet piece of paradise!👍

Great Location and cute condo!

First of all, the location is wonderful, it is quiet and not over crowded. Even the pool was never crowded and we were able to enjoy it with our kids. We loved that there was beach service, I made sure to wake up every morning between 8-830, to make sure we had chairs and umbrella, usually by 840-9 they are almost all taken (especially on weekend's). The condo itself was super cute, and exactly like pictured. If there is one thing with the condo, is that a little more attention could be made towards cleaning. It was just small things like there was still shampoo on the shower walls from the previous people. There was a small amount of sand in the bed, again not a huge deal because I mean, it is right on the ocean. We just swiped it off with our hands and it was fine. Now onto the reasons why we didnt give it 5 stars. Know that the condo does NOT have any beach towels, toys, wagon, cooler, NOTHING! We went to the store and bought a wagon (which we brought back home with us) toys, and beach towels and cooler. I hope this is taken into consideration for future guests as these items would make beach trips up and down, a lot easier, especially with families. I unfortunately had to leave the 2 beach towels and the beach mat in the condo as we were at max weight with our luggage, so hopefully those end up staying for others to enjoy. Overall we had a wonderful time together, thank you for having us!

Great stay

We really enjoyed this property it's right on the beach access to the pool was super easy and access to the beach as well... The location was perfect it's right around the corner from the Seaquarium and the pier and Alot of fun activities for family to do. We really enjoyed the room was perfect our teenager stayed in the living room on a pull out which was perfect for us we had everything we needed utensils for cooking we cooked most of the days so it was nice to have all that. The amount of towels was perfect we had extra towels setting on our bed when we got in we didn't have any problems with finding our room the instructions were very clear and our parking was numbered which was perfect we knew where to park. Thank you for a wonderful stay we really enjoyed it.

Anniversary weekend

Everything was mostly fine. I would have a pest man spray. The only other thing is in the bed room, the internet box flashed all the time and in a dark room, it looks like a disco ball. We went to the beach and was supposed to have 2 chairs but they were all full. We call for some to be put out. UT no one ever came to put any put so we left and went to another beach

Great place to stay!

Rental was super clean, easy to find and close to the beach. It was perfect size for me, my husband and our two daughters. I would not recommend if you have older teenage kids or for more than 2 adults as the pull out couch bed was very thin and uncomfortable. This was my 4th trip to Destin area and this was the cleanest condo I have stayed at yet. Highly recommend.

Bigger than expected

The pictures do not do this property justice! It’s also so close to the pool and beach access which made it so much easier to just wake up and head to the beach! The only complaint would be the pull out couch. It is not the most comfortable. Other than that, everything was great!

Great Location and Place!

Beautiful condo right on the beach with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Place is so much more better in person and would recommend staying here.
