Excellent beach condo!

This condo was perfect for us and the location was great too. Right on the beach and not overcrowded even on the 4th of July. The unit was clean and exactly as described online with an incredible view. We were sad to leave and will definitely be coming back to stay here again.

Condo for Two

My husband and I enjoyed our week-long stay. We have stayed at Gulf Dunes before and, once again, we were happy with the complex and its location on the beach. This condo has two full bathrooms, which makes getting ready so much easier. The balcony is far away enough from the pool that the pool activities aren’t an issue. Stewby’s location right across the street was another bonus! Our only negative would be the lack of blackout curtains in the bedroom. We created our own with a blanket, but it would be nice if the condo made that small change. Otherwise, great location, clean and nice condo, and quick, friendly help from the staff. We would definitely rent this condo again if traveling as only a couple.

Absolutely loved our stay! The location to the beach is amazing as is the views right from the condo

Could not beat the wonderful ocean front/beach views! Condo was neat and clean and had everything we needed. I do recommend bringing staples like laundry soap, dishwashing detergent and dish soap. But that is to be expected.

Excellent experience!

This condo was just perfect! The view from the balcony was one of the best we’ve experienced. The condo was CLEAN, and stocked with everything you need…There were plenty of towels, hooks for hanging things, and I loved that there was a set of plastic dinnerware (plates/cups/bowls just for the kids). I don’t normally like carpet in a condo at the beach, but the carpet in the bedroom was really nice. The communication from Brooks & Shorey was excellent from the moment I clicked “Book Now”. Don’t hesitate to rent this property! Five star experience from beginning to end!

The condo was great! We had great views and everything was really nice. We had bad storms from Hurricane Ida for the 1st part of vacation, but other then that would definitely recommend and stay there again.

summer vacay

The property was clean and well taken care of. The top bunk railing was broken but no big deal. The elevator was right outside the door which was convenient. The gate to the pool and the beach were tricky and didn’t always work. This time of year was crazy busy and all the local restaurants were booked 2-3 hour waits. Overall we had a great stay. The property was definitely as described.

A great beachfront choice

This condo was exactly as described in the listing. We received a call an hour early to check in. The condo was spotless and very well stocked. We enjoyed our 3 days on the beach and took advantage of the beach chair service each day. A great place all around. Thanks for a great visit. We will definitely return.

Beach getaway

Our rental had storm damage so we had to pick a different room. The Brooks and Shorey team handled everything flawlessly and there were no bumps in the road during the process. The room was nicer than expected. The only thing I can say on the negative side was the mattress could have been better. But there was a memory foam topper available. Another great stay at Okaloosa Island! Will be back next year!

All that we wanted

Very well maintained condo. We could not have been more satisfied with everything! The amenities alone were fantastic! And we didn’t even use all of them so there’s a reason to come back. The unit is right next to elevator, but we didn’t hear anything except a cart or two going by when some guests were checking in/out. Wonderful staff who helped in every way even though we never needed them. The ONLY thing I would suggest is maybe a stool in the showers so people don’t have to bend over so much. But that’s really it. The view was great, convenient area, comfortable beds, and quiet. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Our family of 4 enjoyed Gulf Dunes Unit 514 tremendously!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience from check in to check out! The condo was just as pictured, very nice and clean having everything we needed to make our stay amazing! The balcony view was just what we wanted and the XPlorie perks that came with it were awesome!! We couldn’t have been more pleased with the location as well, walking distance to the pier and boardwalk!! Right down the road from Destin and its’ attractions but without the traffic and crowd! We will definitely return and be happy to stay here again😊

Really nice condo. A little disappointed that the pool was closed, and never ventured over to the other pool, seeing as it was at the other building. We couldn’t use the balcony during the days, also a bummer. But overall very nice place and very nice people.
