Needs a deep clean or remodel

Good- view, beds, locationBad- Stains on carpet areas (needs to be replaced)- there was leftover food in the disposal at check-in- refrigerator drawers dirty- Dishwasher racks have rust- dirty counters in the kitchen- stains in shower curtainsThis unit needs a deep cleaning OR rip up the carpet and remodel.

Great trip

This was a wonderful 7 days! The condo was very clean, beds were very comfortable, and location was fabulous. The only thing we needed was a few more pots/pans. We will definitely stay here again.

Spring Break Getaway

We loved the ease of check in and check out, clear communication, and proximity to the beach. The chair & umbrella service is wonderful!!! We also liked that the property is not one of the mega big condos along the beach so it actually felt very private and peaceful. My only suggestions are to replace duvet cover in master, replace pots/pans in kitchen and remove the carpet from living room. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!!

Home away from home

This condo sits right on the ocean. Balcony access allows you to see the sunset perfectly but you have an obstructed view of the sunrise from the neighboring property so you have to go down to the beach to get the birds eye view. Other reviews are correct in saying the carpet could use a good cleaning. Kitchen supplies were enough for what we needed. If you are wanting to watch TV a lot or have kids, it is not a smart TV so you only get local channels. Storage space was amazing. Full size washer and dryer worked perfect. Plenty of bathroom towels. Gave a good start up supply of toiletries. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Pool area I will say was very small. Only 4 lounge chairs so unless you get down there early you are out of luck. Pool photos definitely deceiving. Beach chair service was excellent. Condo is nicely decorated. Thank you for allowing us to share this place!

Condo was nice and of course we loved the location but there are some things in the condo that needs to be fixed , there is no door knob on the door going to the balcony from the living room, the guest bathroom did not have toilet paper holder, kitchen faucet was not shutting off properly., carpet needs cleaning

Condo at beach

Condo was in great location . The view was beautiful! Easy to walk to the beach. Condo was very clean. It was frustrating that there was no handle to go out to the deck in the family room. There was no toilet paper holder in the small bathroom. Condo just needs some simple repairs. We had a great vacation!

Not too bad, but…

The back door is outright dangerous. It is a heavy door that sometimes opens and closes with gust of wind. It does not have a door handle so it’s very difficult to close. My wife smashed her finger trying to get it closed one morning. The third bedroom should be more clearly described in your advertising. It is so small that the door does not fully open. If a normal sized husband and wife were sharing this room, it would be nearly impossible. The couch and loveseat are comfortable, but the end tables and coffee table look like they are about to fall apart. Could be dangerous if you have young ones moving around the living room. (Glass tops) We were unaware that we had to provide our own toilet paper after they provided just one roll. It’s not a big deal, but would be nice to know that we had to bring our own. Some instructions on the TV remotes would be nice. There are multiple televisions and multiple remotes. Thank you for the stay, but we will likely choose another unit next time and hopefully we will have better luck

Perfect Christmas stay

Great spot/not clean

The location of this condo was great! The condo smelled very weird/dirty when we arrived- it seemed half way cleaned. We had to rewash all the dishes because they were dirty. This condo provides the bare minimum- for example they provided one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, no hand soap, and no dishwasher cleaner. We didn’t expect to have everything but this was the least amount of amenities we’ve ever had in a VRBO. The doors to the patio are rusted so they were hard to work/close. The carpet on the patio was wet all the time & made the outside feel dirty. The third bedroom picture with the bunk bed has about a foot & a half walk room- enough to open the door & get in bed. For the price of this condo I’d probably stay somewhere else but the location was great!

We loved our stay. Was a perfect location for a family. Beach was not crowded and we loved the family friendly setting. They only downside for us was the condo could use some updating in flooring and couches. Appreciated the communication and making sure we were happy. Easy check in and out. Happy overall.

First time at Okaloosa

Like a hotel-meaning there are no extra necessities here. I left some trash bags and laundry supplies for the next. Hopefully you get them. Other than that… We loved it! Great view. Comfortable bed.

Beautiful and cozy

Overall this unit was lovely! The view is one of the best we’ve ever had (we come every year for 8+ years) the condo was cozy and a perfect fit for our family. We had a bit of an issue with bed linen not being as clean as they should be or correct sizing for the bed it was on but that was fixed promptly after contacting guest services. All in all I would recommend this unit! Cozy, beautiful view, just steps from the beach, & minutes away from lots of attractions. A few bits of advice I would like to pass along though: •Upgrade the patio furniture on the balcony. It’s rusty and falling apart. • fix the balcony door handles. They are rather difficult to open and close. •the master bathroom vanity outlets don’t work. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ♥️

Great condo

Overall the condo was great. Just a couple of minor problems. The batteries in TV remotes need to be replaced, the tv in the bedrooms would not work, and the microwave keep tripping the circuit when we tried to use it

RUN!!! UNSAFE UNIT!

I was taking my aging parents on their last trip to the beach to make some beautiful memories and instead we had a Nightmare! The condo was FILTHY upon check in. All glasses, dishes, silverware and pots an pans were in cupboards and looked like they hadn't been washed in months. Had to hand wash everything before use. Wiping down the kitchen counter tops the rags came back BLACK even after scrubbing and rinsing cloth 8 times, bathroom counters were even worse. The curtain rod above sliding glass door was not attached to wall properly and fell on my head and left a good size bleeding gash and knot on my head. Luckily this did not happen to my 77 year old parents!! The furniture on the patio was rusted, worn and unsafe for prolong use. I received a gash on my leg from rusty patio furniture, luckily I had a recent tetanus shot!! The bar stools in the kitchen are not secure and my 77 year old dad almost fell off when he sat down and the chair buckled under him. The dining room chairs were no better and the wood screws that hold them together were on the floor under the table. Again - UNSAFE! The outlets in the master bathroom were not working. The elevator went out during our stay and we were on the 6th floor, my 77 year old parents both have heart conditions and when I stated they could not climb or go down 6 flights of stairs I was told by REALJOY this is not their problem!! I reported the other issues as well and REALJOYS solution was to send me a gift basket with paper plates and silverware so I did not have to do dishes!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Do not rent this condo or any other property managed by REALJOY !!!

Nice and quiet

The condo was nice and quiet. Beautiful view. Not a busy area, which was great. Plenty of space at the beach! Doors were hard to open, close and lock. Some of the balcony furniture needs updated. Sinks didn’t work great. It was relatively clean but could have been better.

This one is just okay

The view was amazing. The condo is just ok. The carpet is absolutely filthy & extends to the patio, which made it feel dirty. 2 of the 5 outside chairs are worn, rusty, and need to be replaced. Inside - Every barstool and table is wobbly and unsafe to sit on. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked well with dishes. For the price, I would pick another condo next time.

Great location

The location is unbeatable. The 6th floor condo is steps from the beach and the view from the balcony is fantastic. Basic amenities are provided. The condo provides two beach chairs and an umbrella set up by staff. Our only complaint was cleanliness. A lot of our cups, utensils, and pots/pans were dirty and needed to be cleaned prior to use. The carpet in the unit could use a deep cleaning. But looking past these details, we had a great stay and would recommend the unit.

Needs a good cleaning

The check in process was easy but once we got in the room it was not clean at all we had to vacuum ,wipe down everything food crumbs around the table and bar stools dried food on the kitchen countertop ,the coffee pot had gravy or something all over it, there was a nasty booger on the side of the love seat in plain sight. The washer was messed up when we got there. They did have someone look at it and they said it needed to be replaced. They never replaced it so we had no washer for the week. They did offer to reimburse if we took our clothes to a laundry place but we were on vacation. They did bring more towels and wash cloths during the week when we called or texted them to let them know we needed more.We left it cleaner when we left than it was when we got there. The carpet needs a good cleaning stains everywhere.No one offered any refund of any kind.We did let real joy know about all the issues.
