Condo was beautifully appointed with all of the conveniences of home. Wonderful decor and ample seating made the time we didn’t spend on the beach so nice. The view of the pool and the Gulf of Mexico are perfect!Property management company (Sunset Resort Rentals) have excellent communication and customer service.Our family (siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles) have been coming to Waters Edge for Fall Break since 2006, and this is our 4th year. We love this tradition and are looking forward to next year!!

We did really enjoy our stay. The view was amazing, pool was clean and right at the beach. Only thing was the dryer vent was very old and didn’t stay together. It was full of lent came out and started to shoot out lint out side and clothes were getting sucked into the hole. Really needs to be replaced.

Overall the condo was great and the property was super nice, as it always is.The kitchen could use an upgrade, but it met are needs.Waters Edge is one of the best property in the island!!!

Condo was ok

The unit wasn't as nice as others we've stayed at in the area but nice. Kitchen is poorly equipped with good cookware so it can be an issue. View and access to the pool and beach was excellent.

Fall break 2023

This was our 3rd trip to Waters Edge in October. This was a perfect condo for 4 people. 2 couples. Condo clean and beds comfy. Weather was unbelievable. Sunny and warm for beach days.

Over priced area..

The beach it self was super nice. Really enjoyed that part of the trip. The place we stayed "Waters Edge" was really nice other than that didnt care for it. Guess im use to going to Myrtle Beach but i found that there was a lack of things to do. And anything you did do came at a premium price. To give you an idea. I six pack if Mt Dew at the walmart was over $3.48 at home. Myrtle Beach has 100 times more to do.

Great spring break trip for the family

Our family had a nice week in this condo. We’ve been to the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area for the last five years in March. This was a great condo with a good pool and the beach service was nice. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you’d need. 3rd bedroom isn’t really a bedroom-more of a closet so plan ahead for very little space in there. Also, plan on logging into your own tv service provider if you want to watch television. These things were no big deal for us, but nice to know ahead of time.

Water's Edge 417

Enjoyed stay. Garbage disposal clogged with rag and made metal on metal noise. We could not use it. Electrical outlets were too loose. Appeared to plug in but would not charge the phone. Windows blocked the amazing view. Hall bathroom needs a shelf or table across from sinh. Lots of empty space there. No towel bars. Area rug in the kitchen tripped us up. Front door has to slam to catch closed. Fabulous view from balcony. Plenty of supplies.

Great place to stay. HUGE pool!

We did have a problem with a leak in the ceiling of the second bathroom, but the staff did their best to fix the problem in a timely manner. The pool is very nice- big and very clean. The beach is beautiful there.

A good place to rent. Very clean. Wish the 3rd bedroom with bunk beds had a little more space. Not enough room to keep a suitcase in room.

We enjoyed our time and the AMAZING view!

We had a really good time and the view was spectacular right in front of the ocean and the pool and it is huge! The condo definitely needs updating and the carpet has to go, I will never understand why owners put carpet in a beach rental but anyway. We had to wash all the dishes because they were all dirty, the washer was so tiny but doable, and the refrigerator and coffee maker were nasty also. They did go and buy a new coffee maker which was very nice. Overall we would stay here again and would recommend this place especially if they put waterproof flooring down instead of the carpet.

Great Vacation

Condo worked great! Especially bunk room for our 6 and 8 year old. Second floor right over pool! You could see the ocean perfectly!! Could get loud with pool near by but we didn’t mind and once inside with doors closed it’s fine! Pool closes at 10pm so our kids enjoyed some evening/night swims. Very quick and easy access to pool/beach. Since it’s on second floor no need for elevator but it’s right there too!! Condo had everything we needed. Grills overlook ocean and workout room right outside the door. Spacious inside and nice size patio too. Close to seafood restaurants (AJs and Stewbys). Less than ten minutes to Destin Harbor and 5 minutes to Gulfarium. Publix grocery very close too. Would highly recommend.

Much needed beach time!

We’ve been the the Okaloosa/Destin area several times but this was our first time staying at Waters Edge. We love that’s it’s a smaller resort. Only had a couple issues. I had emailed the managing resort a couple times and never received a response back & I had to call them for our checkin packet. The unit was very clean & had everything we needed. I wish the master had blackout curtains and the mattress needs to be upgraded. The bunk room is extremely small so just be aware of that. There was an issue of people in the pool after hours one evening but the Sheriffs office was on site the next couple nights to make sure all was good. My family loved that there was sand volleyball right there & played just about every evening. Will definitely stay at Waters Edge again.
