Great View!

Nice condo with great views of the ocean. The ocean is right off of the deck. Close to Destin and Fort Walton. Would stay here again.

Perfect spot

The condo was clean when we arrived. We had a nice time and relaxing. When I had a question I would email and they would respond right away. I loved that they had a complimentary set of beach chairs. A perfect place to stay

We love the convenience of Island Princess. We've stayed in several units through the years. Property is always well maintained and we love being able to walk right out to the beach. We enjoyed this unit

Good place

Good condo plenty of room, great view , complex has a good pool, cook out area. Complex does not have many luggage carts, and cable on main tv was in and out. Overall good value, good location, and clean.

Condo on the beach

Check in was very easy. Everything I needed to know was sent to my email. The only thing that bothered me as it just needs a good cleaning, floors were pretty dirty. Otherwise the condo was great. We had a great time in it. The beach was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. The beach service boys were so nice to us. They made sure we had a front row seat. We had a good stay for 2 weeks.

Perfect condo

Great location, condo has a perfect layout, very clean, plenty pots, pans and utensils for cooking and beautiful decor. Problem? - no start up toilet paper, no start up paper towels and no kitchen dish towels, dish soap or scrub brushes. Will we try to stay here again? YES! Great condo! Loved it and loved our vacation.

Great Family Location

We have stayed at this condo twice now and really love the convenience and location. A great morning walk to the pier, or to grab a bite to eat. Local seafood spots and icecream are just blocks away. This particular condo is on the 5th floor and we enjoy the balcony views the most. We've never needed to turn the AC on because the breeze is perfect. This unit could use a deep clean but has all of the amenities we needed and from staying previously we knew we needed to bring extra paper products and trash bags, etc. The free chairs and umbrellas on the beach come in handy and the guys that put them out every day are really accomodating. For a family or 2 staying together this unit fits us comfortably.

Awful! It had mold and stuff broken.

The unit we stayed in didn’t have finished base boards, there was water damage and mold underneath the sinks, the pantry door was gone, the laundry door broke off, the dishwasher didn’t work, then the kitchen had a water leak! I took pictures and sent them to RealJoy, the company we booked through and 1 person called me and said they would handle it. Then I didn’t hear back. Do not book this unit!!!!

ok condo, great view and location

Condo location and view were great. Condo was clean. There were somethings that needed to be updated like ceiling looked as it was coming apart, tubs were on the older side and one bathroom was missing a part of cabinet. Door missing for pantry, cheap fix on light switch in one bedroom that would turn off lights and all outlets at same time so you could not use the tv or plugs unless light was on. Front two bed rooms need curtains as bright lights from outside shine in room all night long. Kitchen could use a few more appliances. But overall 3/3 bedrooms and bathrooms are hard to find and it was clean with comfy beds. Had a great trip would not let those issue stop me from having a good time.

Girls trip

The location of this property is great…the views from the balcony were amazing! One thing our whole party noticed as soon as arriving though was how filthy the floors were. They were so bad we all wore shoes indoors the entire time. I would expect the floors to get sandy/dirty during our stay but the were dirty when we arrived! Also, if you are looking to stay sotwherd there are at least a few basic condiments (salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc.) then this is not the place for you! They provide nothing! It’s kind of annoying if you want to cook and have to buy something simple for just a four day stay. Also, many of the outlets didn’t work. Overall none of these things caused us a bad experience…we all had fun but would not choose this specific property again.

Unit concerns

We enjoyed our stay, but the property itself needs lots of work. The back patio door was broke and did not have a handle attached. The vertical frame piece on each side would fall when you would open the door. Not having a handle made it difficult to open. Two of the toilets would make a loud 15 second noise when flushed, waking guests up at night. The kitchen light would randomly not turn on. The living room floor lamp did not work. There was standing water on the floor by the desk area when we first arrived and the furniture was damp. We had to put a towel down to sit on the furniture. The folding door to the utility room was off the track. No hot pads to remove oven items. It was also an inconvenience to have the water turned off from 9:00 to 2:00 during one day of our stay.

Disappointed

Floors were dirty had to wear shoes or shocks to not have the bottom of our feet dirty. Blinds were broken. Inadequate supply of Toliet paper or paper towels. Doors wouldn't stay put so to get in the bathroom it was always blocked. Not enough info given about needing to turn the temp on the refrigerator down. Had to wait all day for ice. Master bath sink didn't drain properly. We did like the higher Chairs on the deck

Great place for a family

We love this area and condo building! This unit was fairly clean. The floors were dirty and we had to wear shoes. The blinds were broke in the master bedroom and living room. But the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and the furniture was in good condition

Clean and functional

The condo was clean and functioned for our family weekend. Could use some updates in terms of chipped paint, blind panels missing from the master bedroom sliding door, the electrical switch in the middle room turned off not just the light, but all electrical sockets in the room (tv/plugs). The coffee maker had no caraffe to make coffee with. Plenty of space for a family, everything was clean, amazing view and beach chair service. Close to restaurants, Gulfarium, shops, etc.

Labor day week

The condo was a great labor day get away. Easy access to the beach. Luggage carts were very useful and appreciated. The condo had plenty of room for 6 adults. Only aspect that was a minor inconvenience would be the wiring in the bedroom. One switch controlled every outlet. Outside of that small issue the condo was great.

Just what the doctor ordered.

We love this location. The room is cozy yet spacious, and the quick access to the beach is perfect. Also, the service was very prompt and kind. For instance, our DVD player was broken, so we requested a new one, and it wasn’t more than an a couple of hours before they had replaced it! We have no criticisms to offer.

Great location, but the unit desperately needs repairs

Having been visiting the area for more than 3 decades, we are thoroughly underwhelmed with this property relative to the price. Here's a short list of issues identified upon arrival... - Laundry room door broken - Pantry door off tracks - Patio electrical outlet broken - MBR balcony blinds broken - MBR window blinds broken - MBR HVAC vent has black mold - Microwave counter top light burnt out - All bathtubs need bleached and re-grouting The location is amazing, but this unit is severely lacking in basic maintenance.
