The communication with the owners of how bad this place to get our money back

where to begin this place was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at it was dirty. The furniture was so wore out you sunk down to the ground the bed you sunk to the middle cause the mattresses were so bad. They said there was Internet and cable TV there was none. There was no blinds on the windows shelves missing out of the kitchen cupboard, so you cannot put food in it, we were due to stay for three months wound up standing seven nights asked for our money back which was over $13,000 and we still haven’t gotten our money back. The owners will not give us our money back and VROB keeps telling us they’re supposed to give us the money back, but haven’t seen anything from either VR OB, or the owners . I would never recommend this property to anyone else and they own another one at this location too manager on property is a wonderful lady named Jackie. She was so very helpful. As far as I can see these two condos should not be being used until they are updated and if you’re looking because it has a walk-in shower for a handicap person don’t stay because you can’t get a walker through any of the doors. There is no grab bars anywhere for anybody safety and you can’t get into the walk-in shower unless you walk sideways , and again like I said the places extremely filthy dust hanging from ceiling fans hanging out of vets walls all scratched up and need to be painted. No drain if you wanted to take a bath instead of a shower, no drain in the kitchen so you can wash dishes!

Wonderful place!

We had a wonderful time & enjoyed this condo! Having the beach so close was a blessing with us having small children!! Beautiful beach! Condo was perfect for our family. Our doggie enjoyed being able to look out even though he couldn’t go to the beach. Owners super nice! Everyone we encountered was so nice too! Would definitely stay here again!

Clean with an excellent view

We all had a good time at your condo. Everything was just fine. Except the furniture was very uncomfortable including the high kitchen table. I am handicapped which made it hard for me. So, a week is all I would want to stay there. I loved being on the ocean and on a good day I was able to climb the steps to view it. Also the beds were very comfortable and it was nice having WI-FI.

Aqua Villa #104

We had a great time in Fort Walton. The condo we stayed at was in a great location. 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Pet friendly. Great location to pool. Just steps away from the beach. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for the 3 of us. All the amenities you would need to have a great stay. Definitely will be coming back to this condo!!!

Great location, nice property, clean room!

We really enjoyed our stay on this property. It's a bit older and you can tell renters have not been kind to it but it is very clean and kept up pretty well. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with utensils and pans and other dishware. The Wi-Fi worked well and the water pressure was good and really what more do you need at the beach? Speaking of the beach, it is absolutely stunningly gorgeous bright white sand, turquoise water, and colorful sunsets. There is plenty to do in the area although we did find out dogs are not allowed on the beach in this community. Not a big deal, we just drove down to the dog beach near Pensacola and it was wonderful. Finally, because of covid we actually had to reschedule our trip twice and the house was extremely accommodating. We were able to get away and relax and appreciate it so much!

Great views, uncomfortable room

The owners were very easy to work with and I appreciate them working with us, that's why I hate to say anything negative. But the beds, couch, and chairs were so very uncomfortable. I believe the furniture is worn out. Bathrooms are in desperate need of upgrading and repair. No bugs were noted. I think the cleaning person needs to be told to do a better job of cleaning. It does have a great location and it's just a couple steps from the pool (which was kept very clean) and maybe 100 yds or less to the beach which was absolutely kept clean and was very beautiful. We were told this condo was one of the oldest in the area so it probably is in need of remodeling throughout the complex. Some of the condos have been or are in the process of being remodeled. You can tell there has been some repairs done to the condo but not recently and not very well. My husband is an electrician and plumber plus we have flipped many houses so he recognizes a good vs bad repair job.

Building was an eye sore. Cleanliness was horrible. Did not stay. Left after one night.

Was very disappointed in this property. Will NOT book again. The cleanliness lacked by far. When pulling up to the building I was let down automatically. The building looked very rough. The only good thing is it is right on the beach. Would not recommend to anyone.

Awesome family vacation

Had a very nice time, with my two teenagers and dog. Such a beautiful beach and it was so nice to be able to just walk outside anytime and be steps away from the ocean. The Tom Thumb store is literally right next door, and they do have some groceries so it was very convenient. Overall the place is very nice, the only negative was that the pool was right outside the door/ window and was always quite crowded. But we were able to block out the sound by running a fan so it wasn't a huge issue. Very spacious and clean, loved that it had two bathrooms and really loved the walk-in shower! I have a small dog who liked to hide underneath the beds which had definitely not been vacuumed as I was constantly getting fuzz and small pieces of trash out of his mouth, but I mean who vacuums under beds? Other than that no complaints, we made lots of good memories and would definitely consider staying again!
