Perfect for young families

They had a high chair and pack n play for our infants and it was so clean! The pools for great for our kids and it was within walking distance to several restaurants.

Amazing spring break

Nice but needs updating / cleaning

Waterscape Resort as a whole is a bit dated but nice beach and several large pools for kids. It’s not terrible but not incredible either. Our condo however, great layout, nice balcony. View is of parking lot but that was fine. Our issue was the cleanliness. The unit smelt like smoke / mildew. There was visible black mold on ceiling of bathroom and bedrooms. The floors in bathrooms, kitchen, and living room all needed sweeping and mopping. When I reached out to housekeeping, they insisted I provide photos. Even with photographic evidence, I was told it “dust settling”. I literally went out and bought a swifter mop so that our feet weren’t black. There was dirt/scuffs/stains on all walls, countertops, sofas. You could wipe with a lysol wipe and see the white coming through the dirt. I messaged the host and never heard back. Thankfully we were able to launder the linens and towels ourselves, but I wasn’t prepared to clean the unit upon our arrival. Much less be told by housekeeping that they don’t handle deep cleaning. Mold/mildew/hair that isn’t yours in a shower just wasn’t the vibe. We were unable to close the curtains in one bedroom bc they had dry rotted / mildewed so bad that they started falling apart when we tried to move them. I recommend the property owner get a new housekeeping staff asap.

Relaxing Vacation

Conveniently located, easy to get around. Waterscape pools, hot tubs and common areas were clean and well maintained. Condo was conveniently located in relation to the parking garage which was a huge plus. Accommodations met our needs.

Excellent stay

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the condos. Room was very clean, amenities were very nice, and was perfect for the amount of people we had. The owner reached out when we first arrived to see if we needed anything and was very friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

Waterscape is wonderful resort. This property at Waterscape is very nice. Nicely decorated. Spacious. Kitchen well stocked. Communication from owner was excellent.

Great atmosphere

We loved our stay at Waterscape. The owner was very easy to get ahold of when the pool access wasn't available on the first day and went out of his way to help us whe. His on-site contact didn't respond. The resort in general was amazing from the pool area, to the beach chair set-up! We had a great time and will definitely stay here again!

Nice Beach Needs A LOT of TLC

I want to start my review by stating that the property manager/owner was very nice and easy to contact. Pros: Splash pad Heated pool near splash pad Nice beach with an umbrella and 2 chairs included Cons: Condo was not as pictured "Leather" peeling off furniture Furniture was broken down and uncomfortable Was not clean AT ALL (even the maintenance guy stated that it was filthy) Freezer did not produce ice (meaning we had to purchase everyday we were there) Refrigerator took 24 hours to get cold Not a "partial" gulf view - view is of the parking lot of the hotel next door We had to go purchase house shoes to wear inside because they floor made your feet black When I spoke to the property manager on the phone, specifically about the refrigerator, we said "you can check out." We would have considered that if there was availability and the refund would have posted to our bank account in time. I would not stay here again, but would consider another property of the property manager since he was very nice. The photos definitely need to be updated and whoever is cleaning this property should actually clean. I spent one of my days on vacation sanitizing and trying to clean what I could with the limited supplies I brought with me.
