We were beyond delighted with the condo. The location was perfect— just steps away from the beach! The accommodation had everything we needed, with a generous-sized kitchen, a pool that had a place to shower off the beach, and the kids loved the bunk beds.

The weather was rainy and the beach had heavy seaweed, but as far as the property it had everything we needed. It was faster to walk out the door and to the beach than bigger complexes I've stayed in that are "oceanfront". If you are a walker, you could easily stay here and never have to get in your car. Beach attendants were accomodating and friendly.Outside, the pool was clean and cool and wasn't ever overcrowded. Pool patio furniture could use a replacement chair or two, but otherwise fine. Property was manicured nicely and laundry area was great. Plenty of dumpster room for trash. Inside, everything was clean and in good working condition. Nice and cozy, perfect for a small group (we had 3). Thank you! We had a great time a definitely would stay here again.

Island princess was fantastic

Truly enjoyed our stay here at island princess. Everything was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained. Will definitely be staying here again. Kids had a blast being right next to the pool area and the ocean is right over the small bridge. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

Good - But

Good but somethings made it not great. Rust in bathroom and leaky faucet in bathroom. Sleeper sofa is only a regular sofa. Needs more kitchen utensils to cook, very disappointing. Location and pool are great as is the beach service. Parking is very limited and tight.

Tropical Isle was a hidden gem & I'm so thankful my family & I found it. It is very affordable, comfortable, safe, & clean. I would give it a 10/10 hands down. We will be back.

Perfect for our young family

Clean, no obvious fragrances in our unit (this is DELIGHTFUL - please continue this! The only scent we detected was on extra bedding for pull out couch, possibly on towels). The location was quiet, felt very safe, the unit and pool were clean. We did not worry about our vehicle being broken into. Loved the quick walk to the beach. Some unit owners were present. Very little foot traffic in the area. Other families and individuals present. Needed to contact management once for the use of beach chairs and umbrella, this was sorted within 30 minutes. Excellent location. It would be a joy to return!

Perfect weekend getaway

We are a family of 3 and we absolutely loved this unit. It was quaint and very clean. While it wasn’t ocean view, it was very easy access to the beach. The parking was great too. Right outside of your room, so it was super easy to load and unload. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

A hop, skip, and a jump from the beach!

The condo was clean, comfortable, and right at the beach. There was a slight communication blip involving the complimentary beach service. (Not the owner's fault.) We did not spot the beach chair/umbrella guy initially, called the office to find out what to do about getting the service, and was told to go to the beach and then call. Call who? We called back to the office once we returned to the beach, only for them to tell us to look for someone on the beach. We were surrounded by great places to eat, and the beach was a short walk across the road. The condo is cozy, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Location is everything

Perfect spot to walk right to the beach. 30 seconds and you were there. If you’re looking for an easy, cost effective rental- this is a great option. The condo itself is retro. Very dated. Not modernized. It’s cute and quaint and ideal if you’re going to spend most of your time beachside anyways. Close to everything you’d want to be near in Fort Walton area as well.

Location is great. Mattresses are not very comfortable. Floors need steam cleaned or something, had to wear our shoes the entire time inside, if not bottoms of feet would be filthy.

Steps from the Beach!

Great location spacious rental..everything you need for a vacation. I loved Okaloosa Island area. My first time here will be back for sure. Only suggestion is a newer mattress for more comfort.

The only complaint was there were no extra trash bags for a three night stay no extra one. No dishwashing soap for sink. Great beds and clean condo.

We were upgraded to a villa on the Gulfside and that was wonderful to be able to walk right out to the beach. The street it was on, Miracle Mile Pkwy, was busy every day but still able to get around. Could walk to other side of street by a walkway bridge to the bay side. The pool was heated and there was a hot tub and another pool next to that unheated but there were painters with machinery at this time so could not avail that larger pool. Place was clean and office staff very helpful.
