Well equipped, clean and well managed.

Family of 5 (w/ 10, 15 & 17 yos) on Spring Break late March 2025. House was as described (lots to do). Kitchen very well stocked. Pool was awesome (we paid for the heat - glad we did). Upstairs gaming included Ping pong, Pac-Man, chess and life size connect 4-games. All 5 of us played there each night. Swam in the pool everyday. Short golf cart ride or walk to the white sand beach and then the pool and pickleball / basketball courts at the clubhouse were great too. Played pickleball most days. Very nice gated community. Perfect for our group. Property manager, Frangista, communicated often. Called us to confirm our check in plans, the pool heat and go over the golf cart. They gave us a number to text or call if problems. They were responsive throughout. Very prompt, even at weird times. We'd stay again, for sure.

Loved the house!

We loved the house and the neighborhood. It was nice having a golf cart to get around in. The only thing we had a problem with is the parking. I was stressed the entire time that our vehicle tires would be touching the grass or touching the pine-straw. There is only room for two cars. We did park our two extra cars at the recommended RV park. They were very friendly there, but our two extra vehicles were parked in an open field for a week. The house sleeps 14, but there is no way 14 people could fit in two small vehicles. The parking at the house was extremely aggravating. We were so worried most of the time about getting a ticket that we backed out both vehicles to get the golf cart out and then put the cars back. We were worried if we parked the cars far enough over to simple pull the golf cart in and out of the garage our tires would touch the pine straw. The parking is the only complaint I had. The house was really clean and we loved the pool. If you are only going to need two cars absolutely perfect house, if you need more space for cars I wouldn’t recommend this house. I’m a very anxious person and a rule follower and staying here stressed me out. I worried the entire time we were going to break a rule and have to pay a fine. Again, the house is lovely and very clean. A lot of room. Comfortable beds. Teenagers loved it.

Loved the house and pool. Nice to have golf cart to go down to the beach specially with a 3 year old. We always have our traditional trip to get ice cream which is a short golf cart ride. We all had a blast playing ping pong, connect 4 and Pac Man. Only negative thing was the dishwasher did not really clean dishes well and maybe that’s why some dishes were dirty in the cabinets. We made the best of that.

Excellent Stay

This property was perfect for our family. It is a short golf cart drive to the beach. It came with all the beach toys and supplies that we would ever need, and the toy panty in the house was amazing for out 3 and 6 year old. The pool was the perfect size and temperature. Everything in the house was very clean. At first the long list of rules is a little off-putting, but really all of the rules are very reasonable things.

Frangista property managers were great. The home was outdated. It was disappointing that the owner had rules pasted all over the house, cupboards, garbage cans, walls, tables, etc. we have never seen this before. Usually there is a book with suggested things to do or see in the area. Not here. The golf cart died the first day, the owner did rent us a new one but we had to pick up and drop off so out of the week we only had a golf cart 3 days. We loved the area but would not stay in this house again.

Excellent!

Stayed here with 4 adults and 3 children. Property was beautiful and was very comfortable. The private pool was great. Neighborhood and location to the beach was fantastic. It was so nice to have beach chairs and toys provided. Would hands down recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Destin.

The house was just as described with a wonderful pool and a screened in porch area. It was well furnished and very clean. The included golf cart was very handy for those short trips to the beach and clubhouse. Will definitely stay there again if we are in Destin.

Clean, convenient, quiet, and fun.

This place has a lot of perks and owner provided amenities such as beach chairs and toys. Close to everything and far enough away that it’s quiet and peaceful. Truly a great place. There are a lot of “rules” but they are really just common sense, respectful to the community, and keeps the place great! We would book it again!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!

We absolutely loved staying at the house! The gated, code-entry community, Destiny East, was absolutely beautiful, it was very close to the beach, nice and quiet, and the people/neighbors were very friendly. I felt very safe with my family and children. The house was clean and very spacious for our large family. We loved the included 6-passenger, street legal golf cart. We took that to the beach and around locally when we ventured out. The private pool was everything! The kids really enjoyed that and used it all the time from morning to night during our stay. There was a screened in porch that was very nice as well and it was nice to be protected from biting bugs and mosquitoes. We would've liked more basic things in the kitchen; like bigger pots and pans with matching lids, measuring cups & spoons, a matching broom and dust pan for messes. The vacuum cleaner didn't work very well either, it didn't suck up very good at all. There were only 3 pool/beach towels provided, which was definitely appreciated, but we have a larger family and could've used more complimentary pool/beach towels. There was plenty of beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, etc in the garage, which was also very helpful with kids. I would definitely recommend this property, it is definitely very family friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great Location

This house was great! Awesome neighborhood close to everything and steps away from the beach. We loved having the golf cart to take to the beach. We had plenty of room to space out with 4 adults and 3 kids. We paid to have the pool heated which was just what we needed for the cooler mornings and evenings in March. Overall a great find and we would definitely book again.

We were there the week of Hurrican Sally. The home was nice and very roomy. The home did suffer a water leak in the kitchen area due to the hurricane which left a large puddle of water that we had to clean up. We used towels to address the leak during the hurricane and we did report it to the property managers. The home itself was stocked with necessary utensils and the washer and dryer worked well. We were disappointed with the pool area which was small and constricted compared to the photos which definitely made it look spacious. The grill was not cleaned very well and the hot tub was drained and inoperable. The deck could use some attention as there were missing post caps and chipped paint in many places. The lanai was great and had plenty of seating. The kitchen appliances were top notch. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable and could use new mattresses but the rooms were spacious! The 2nd floor area was great and very roomy! Frangista Beach management was wonderful and responded to our messages and concerns in a timely manner. The two golf carts included in the rental were great. It ould be of benefit to make the one cart street legal, otherwise, larger parties of 5+ may have to rent a 2nd.
