The location was great. We have rented several in the same section and loved it. This particular listing was just not maintained for the cost of the condo. I’m not sure if it’s mainly just issues with the management company or the upkeep of the condo. 1. The condo was not cleaned well outside of the basic cleaning. Drink splatters all over the wall and food stuck to dishes and pots was an issue. 2. Cable was not working. I’m assuming due to it being disconnected from not paying. 2 TVs were not smart TVs so that’s not helpful when you don’t have cable. Contacted management, it took 2 days after empty promises to get it restored. 3. Bikes were broken. 2 of the bikes are unridable. Management said they’d come fix but didn’t. 4. Overall, it was just not kept up. Carpet is pulling up, cabinets are worn, kitchen table was drawn on, screw were exposed on the walls. It just needs some love.

I can not say enough about this place. Although it was not on the beach it was super easy to get there on the golf cart. It’s set up like a 4 bedroom and was perfect for our family of 8 that went. Plenty of room perfectly setup and all the beds were comfortable. There were turtles in the creek behind the house (loved strawberries) the wharf

Great neighborhood

It was great stay everyone was comfortable!!! Plenty of space. The people in the neighborhood were friendly!!! You don’t have to leave the resort for anything it has what you need!!!

September Get Away

We throughly enjoyed our visit. The condo was beautiful, with the exception of both the front and back door blinds desperately needing replacement. The pull out couch also had a big tear but did not change our opinion of the condo. The golf cart was a nice perk as were the bikes and many water toys. The condo was exceptionally clean, well supplied with bath linens but could have used another kitchen towel or two. Thank you for a wonderful, we will definitely be back!

Destin Softball Trip

The house was very comfortable. Clean, everything easily accessible. We loved taking the golf cart down to the activities at the Warf. We only went 1 day to the public beach access. It was nice to be able to ride the golf cart down there, but is was way to crowded for our liking. Besides that the house was nice. Describes just like the listing. We did have trouble with the washing machine and had to go to a laundra mat to wash all week. We had constant communication with the rental company, who were responsive. They had to order a part so it was kinda a hassle deal with, especially since we had to wash uniforms durning the week for the tournament. We would stay again 👍

It was just ok.

We arrived on a Monday. Our stay was for 7 days. Tuesday we went to wash a load of the towels and the washing machine was off balance very badly. We alerted Beach Walk Vacation immediately. They text back saying they had spoken with the property manager and that the washer was broken. They said they could provide us with a wash and fold service for the duration of our stay if we'd like. It was a huge inconvenience for us with our family to not be able to wash clothes. We had two small children whose clothes we could not have anyone launder do to allergies. We only use a certain detergent for them. Plus, our personal clothes I didn't feel comfortable sending them off with a company and not knowing if we'd get them back. As it was, we agreed to have them launder the towels, and wash cloths at least. They brought us a good supply but never came back to pick up the dirty laundry even though we were told they worked till 5pm. No one came. So we had to hang our towels and reuse them. Not happy in the least about that. The golf cart and bikes were a blessing. I do feel the pool near our unit was not properly maintained. It was hot water, lots of leaves from nearby trees everyday, and not clean. Wasn't refreshing at all. This stay was certainly different than our stay back in 2022. We did however book through the resort and not a VRBO or Beach Walk. Not sure if that made the difference or not. Next time, we will stay elsewhere!

Family beach get away

Quick trip with family to the beach-great location, loved having the golf cart-might add a mattress topper to the master bed(not very comfortable) but it was a great place to stay!

Sandestin

Sandestin is a awesome experience. Carting around the property was great, restaurants, golf courses, shopping etc was so entertaining. Only problem with condo was the lack of a few trivial items such as salt and pepper, no propane for grill, coffee filters for coffee maker and the TP paper was lacking any substance. 3 way lights fixtures are all wired wrong. needs some updating. Overall, was a great experience.

Great Location

The location of this property is great and to have a golf cart with bikes really helped our big group. The only downfall were the things that needed to be fixed around the house. We travel and stay at a lot of properties and this one needs a little work. Other than that we had a great time. The Beachwalk Property did step up when we had an issue with the air conditioner, they had someone out to fix within about 2 hours and it did get fixed.

Amazing Stay

We have stayed at many rentals on this property, however Villa Lago is by far our best experience. The pictures do not do justice as to how nice this house truly is. We had a great time just being on property, which included many amazing restaurants and things to do for the kids. I would recommend this rental for anyone who wants the absolute very best experience in Destin.

Beach house vacations is hard to contact.

The house had some damages. The review for the property said we could be charged with said damages if they weren’t reported. There was no one to contact for said damages. Even when I emailed, called and messaged via the Vrbo app. We forgot some belongings and there was no one to contact for that either! For having such strict policies, why is there no one to contact for any of this??

Just about perfect!

Awesome property to rent. We used the bikes and the golf cart the entire stay(no gas used$$$). Beautiful inside and out. We had ample room for three couples, two extra singles beds to spare. 6 seat golf cart allowed us to make a single trip every where we went. Please add a map of the area. Cleaning crew missed a few things.
