  • You are looking for a quiet and lovely furnished vacation rental with outstanding canal view boat dock and Gulf access, situated in SW Cape Coral?
    You have found it - welcome to the 'Lazy Pelican'!
    You'll find a perfect place, located at a saltwater canal intersection and close to the beach and the Marina of Cape Coral and to many restaurants and bars on and around the Cape Coral Parkway - this home has everything to enjoy life under the Florida sun.
    A lot of space with 3 bedrooms (two of them with kingsize beds), 2 bathrooms and split floor plan with generous living and dining areas make your vacation nearly wantless, with all the amenities you have at your own home, but with the big advantage of Florida's sunshine.
    In the Family Room you'll find a 55' 4K LED TV for your entertainment. Master and the second bedroom has king size beds and LCD TV´s. Third bedroom is a twin room.
    The fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast nook.
    The large poolarea welcomes you with a large electric heated pool, nice sunbeds, adirondeckchairs, and a big gas grill for making big steaks.
    The fenced backyard include a variety of palm trees, orange and avocado trees. There are also a dock and a boat rental can be arranged and delivered dockside.
    For your convenience, there are numerous restaurants and shops close to the house. As well as the small but beautiful and family-friendly beach of Cape Coral.
    Surveillance devices
    The driveway and entrance area in front of the house are monitored by a camera within approximately 30 feet for security purposes only.
    This camera is located on the power pole in front of the house. Areas where guests can expect reasonable privacy are not monitored. Areas where guests have a reasonable expectation of privacy will not be monitored. Compliance with Vrbo's guidelines for monitoring devices in a property is hereby guaranteed.

Highly recommend. We felt comfortable the minute we walked in. Well stocked with essential items. Enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Lazy Pelican. Hosts & Property Manager were excellent.

This home rental is a true gem. The furniture is extremely high quality you can tell that the owner really took the time to furnish the house. By far this is one of the best VRBOs that I have stayed at and I have stayed at hundreds of them. It really makes a difference if the furniture has been purposely bought for the house . The space is wonderful The dock is so nice to fish from. The pool was perfectly warmed .The communication with the property manager was awesome he came and checked in on us when we got here he was such a gem. The property is very conveniently located to Publix. Plenty of high quality bath towels beach towels. The kitchen pots and pans everything you could need. This will definitely be a vacation home that I bookmarked and come back to as often as my vacations permit.

We had a wonderful vacation. The house is great, clean, and in a fantastic location. We could get everywhere quickly. We really enjoyed our time by the pool. The house has everything you need. Communication with the owners was easy and very pleasant.

Great experience.

Location was wonderful. We were close to restaurants and shopping as well as having a short easy drive to Ft. Myers to visit friends. We had 3 additional family members stay with us for a 4 day weekend and they were easily accommodated.

Lazy Pelican retreat

This was a Great house in a very convenient, yet quiet location. The house was spotless and check-in could not have been easier. We made an afternoon trip to Sanibel and Captiva, which was also beautiful! We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing location

We loved the location, situated on the canal. Screened in lanai to enjoy peaceful evenings and sunsets. Quiet, clean, cozy home. We enjoyed the Cape Coral area.

Lovely home and setting

The home was very pleasant and the layout was great. The back porch looking out over the pool and the canal was our favorite place to hang out. The owners were very responsive to any questions. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay in Cape Coral!

great shape. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you’d need to cook and grill. The grocery store is .5 miles from the house with lots of great restaurants nearby. We used the home as a great base for day trips and enjoyed the room to spread out and recover from the Florida heat. The swimming pool was a great bonus for lazy afternoons at home. We would love to visit again.

A Little Piece of Heaven!!

We had an absolutely lovely and restful time at the Lazy Pelican!!! Everything was exactly as stated on the listing. The decor was beachy and furniture very comfy!!! Location was perfect and central to everything!!! Great restaurants, beaches, and day trip options!!! Had a wonderful time on Sanibel Island!! Glad to see the continued recovery from the hurricane!! Will look forward to returning in the future!!!

Nice Stay at Lazy Pelican

The Star of this Property is the “Lanai/Pool” that faces East and you can watch the Sunrise w Coffee every morning. The Dock & Deck on the Canal was also very nice and could fish or just sit and watch the Wildlife in the Area. A very nice Pool that gets shade from the Sun in the mid to late Afternoon. Property is on a Main Street but was mostly quiet at night and overall the house is nice and we got lucky w the weather. If you stay at this property you may want to stop at Dollar Store as we had to purchase extra TP, Paper Towels, Bar Soap, Shampoo, spices for cooking. Overall we would certainly consider this property to stay in the Future.

Wonderful Canal Front Home.

Great home with a pool on intersecting canals. Check in was perfect and easy. The owners and the property manager were great to work with and I was even able to check in a day early when my schedule changed. House has everything you need and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. The grill outside was also a bonus. I was gone a lot during the day but enjoyed sitting by the pool at night and doing some fishing on the dock. I caught some very large fish right next to the dock. The view was great and it was very quiet outside. Thanks again for the great stay. It was a great home for me to explore the Cape Coral Area Michael

Excellent property

Home was in good repair & excellent condition, except for the pool lining surface which is flaking/eroding away; my only problems were as follows: The closed caption does not work on the TV, although I had the settings on the TV set to closed caption; looking on the internet, the problem seems to be with the internet/cable tv supplier; the second was the couch/sofa which might have been the most uncomfortable I ever experienced when watching TV; they are in excellent condition but most uncomfortable. Two lights on the lanai and the pool light are burned out; I mentioned this to the property manager, which he agreed to; he said the pool light has been burned out for 10 years. Other than that, excellent; location is great.
