Considering what the area has been thru with Hurricanes the house is in nice condition. It was clean & located in a good area to go boating. Canal front living like the keys. There were a few draw backs like no cleats on the dock to tie up to. No gas in the grill that was advertised & we planned meals for & no batteries in any remote controllers. Minor inconveniences for sure but still inconveniences none the less. You can't be in a hurry for anything on the 2 lane road going in & out of the island. The host was affected by it too to get there & get the pool heater on. It was late evening before he got there. Wi-Fi was spotty -again sounds nitpicky but it was a small pain. OVERALL it was a very relaxing & fun stay for my son's 30th birthday celebration doing what he loves.

The home was impeccable, with little extras in case you forgot your shampoo or soap. Cleanliness was first and foremost, with the attention to detail spot on! Pool was relaxing, with a wee bit warm in the summer, so relax within before the bugs come out at night( after all this is summer). Just note there is no oven, but there is a convention microwave. So grilling it is! Friendly neighbors and great location. We are quiet and the neighborhood is the same!

YOLO FEST 2025

5 friends came together to attend YOLO Fest 2025 - which friends started in 2022. The house was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect as it was 2 blocks from YOLO. The only suggestions I have are as follows: 1. King mattress needs to be rotated or replaced-lumpy & soft2. Put a full length mirror somewhere in the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook.

Family Time!

Perfect location for our family gathering! Our grandchildren loved the pool. The house was very clean and comfortable. Being on the canal with easy access to the harbor was a plus. Lots of fun restaurants nearby within walking distance. Would definitely book again!!

Spring get away

Beautiful and very clean house. Nice quiet location. Some communication with management after our arrival. However, when I emailed several times prior to our stay I got no response. The kayak was nice except there was no paddle. Luckily we were able to rent one from Apex. Also at the end of our stay communication was lacking when I reported the propane tank on the grill was out and a chair that was very rusted had broken when it was sat on. Loved the house and location but communication from management was not as responsive as it should have been.

Family vacation

Great house and location. Perfect for the entire family. Kids enjoyed the pool. Tied our boat to the dock outback and went boating to sandbars and Sanibel. Would definitely book again

Amazing Property in St. James City

We stayed here over my son's spring break to do some fishing on Pine Island. Overall, our stay was amazing. I would definitely stay here again and will most likely book another vacation here. The house was very clean with new furniture and bedding. The pool, dock, and firepit were amazing. Great location, quiet but close to several restaurants that would cook the fish we caught. Only issue which is small and hopefully resolved. The propane on the gas grill was empty. contacted the management company to resolve it. I tried calling, left a message, and texted and they eventually responded to my text advising me to take to a local store to have it filled. Again, not a big issue but I feel it could have been handled better on their part. Again, overall it was a great stay and look forward to returning.

Perfect Location

Overall we had a great stay. We didn’t know much about the area, but quickly found there is not a better spot for boating. 3 minute boat ride out to the water. The house and pool area were extremely clean. We had an issue with the pool heater that was resolved. The boat lift, trailer parking and kayaks were great. Plan to bring your own firewood. The beds are old (squeaky and feel every movement), but I understand the new owner will be renovating. Listing and information from owner and local contact was inaccurate and poor communication. They said they had beach towels, but had only 4 that were in sad shape. The bath towels (1 per person) were tattered and discolored. Easy fixes. The pool area desperately needs a cage. We couldn’t sit outside at night because nothing stopped them. In the end, a great trip because we loved the space and location so much!

Beautiful backyard

Love the location & the house. Just a few small maintenance issues that should probably be addressed(guest bedroom window wouldn’t close & water backup into shower & tub one day). No major issues, or anything that kept us from having a great time. Lovely quiet neighborhood.

A relaxing pool with unique canal view

Spent 3 nights with family at this relaxing home. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac. Clean interior with large tv with cable and streaming available. Kitchen opens up to a plunge pool overlooking a canal with tropical feel. We felt like we were in the tropics. Great time!

Great place for bringing your boat!

The dock and boat lift were perfect for our length 22ft boat. Could accommodate slightly bigger as well. Deep canal a short distance to the intracoastal. It was wonderful boating to the surrounding islands and the fishing was great. We loved seeing the manatees that came through the canal every day! The house was clean with a well equipped kitchen, nice linens, and plenty of towels. The pool was perfect after a long day on the salt water. This was a perfect place to stay.

Backyard space can’t be beat

The house was great. The backyard setup was amazing for the family and boat. Made everything very easy. Not much shade to be found around the pool, but not fault off the house. The interior was comfortable, but the back was where most of our time was spent. Short boat rides to dinner made it easy with.

Loved it!

We loved this location and plan to come back! It was beautiful and we enjoyed having the boat there 🥰 beds were comfy and the home was beautiful! There were so many mosquitos though and kept coming inside once you opened the sliding glass door, i think a screen would be super helpful. Overall our stay was amazing and everyone was so nice !! Highly recommend

St. James City was so peaceful

This location was super peaceful and entertaining. Right when you go into the home it felt cozy and relaxing. We had short boat drives to Captiva Island, Sanibel Island and Ft. Myers Beach. We got to explore all these locations on our stay which we loved. Can't wait to go back at some point...

Excellent spot for a quiet getaway

Perfect place for a quiet getaway. We spent our days by the pool and evenings fishing by the water. The sandy area by the fire pit makes you feel like you have the beach as well. Beautiful palms, friendly neighbors, quiet. We saw manatees and plenty of birds to keep our toddler excited. The house was equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of clean towels and extra pillows, which is appreciated! It is in the middle of nowhere, so you have to do some driving to get to the store, restaurants, the beach, etc, which was fine with us.
