Very close to art district - that's what we wanted. I would have preferred the air conditioner a bit cooler at night. Overall, it was Great!

The inside of the house was beautiful, but the outside neglected. Staff person was hardly there and never even saw the owner. Check in process was very stressful. Could not contact the owner and neither could Expedia staff member. Took several hours

We are in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, 4 blocks from night life, Restaurants, Shopping, Edsion Ford Winter Estates, IMAG, 20 minutes from beaches (Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach) just to name a few. We have plenty of attractioins just maybe no the direction you may have been interested in. Either way thank you for the feed back.

Old fashioned B&B that serves excellent breakfast! The Hibiscus is a gem in Ft Myers. A short walk to downtown and a short walk the other direction to the Edison gardens. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We highly recommend.

Highly recommend the Hibiscus House
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hibiscus House in Ft Myers. We got a warm welcome from Sheila the innkeeper and our "check-in" felt more like arriving at a friend's house. The location is great--you can walk downtown or to the grocery store and there are a couple of restaurants really close by. A lot of attention has been paid to the guest experience and we had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable (nice bed, decent pillows, 2 armchairs, extra towels, etc). The only downside is that the house starts to feel (and sound) active starting around 7am ET, so if you want to sleep in I'd recommend booking one of the upstairs rooms. Another note for the non-morning people: Breakfast is served from 9 to 9:15am only, so not a very leisurely window of time (especially for anyone coming from a western time zone).

Thank you for the amazing review and feedback. We are located in a working city so it can at times become busy, plus we are in our high season (The Population doubles this time of year). Our Breakfast time are set on those particular times but, if guests require a earlier or later breakfast we ask for them to make the request known to us so we may accomodate. A large part of the B&B experiance is the conversation and the people we meet. We like to make ourselves available for morning discussions as much as possible. Just a time managment thing.

Great location with a dedicated parking lot and easy access to downtown Fort Meyers restaurants. Super- accommodating staff/owners. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, charming B&B, very clean, great fusion of an older home that has been partially updated with modern, new amenities while maintaining the charm of original floors and ceilings and old stairs, etc. The owners are very friendly. I liked the breakfast although one of our party did not. Near downtown and walkable to a nice microbrew pub and on the main north-south street of Ft. Myers.

Gary, Thank you for the amazing review. Although there seemed to be a small bump with one of the guests in your party. We alwayts strive to place a homestyle breakfast out each morning of our guests stay, this being said if we know a head of time, maybe the evening before we would have gladly made arrangements to suite any of our guests requests, requirements or if necessary a restriction. Awesome! Hibiscus House B & B
This is my first experience staying at a B & B! I would love to do it again! It was very comfortable in our bedroom. The only minor complaint I have is that on the door out of our room the shade left open space for someone to be able to look on our room. Also looks like the outside could use a fresh coat of paint. We did enjoy our stay!

If you like old, historic, houses with charm, this is your house. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, and all have a private bathroom and entry/exit. Yes, some of the floors creak, but everything was fine for our stay.

First time at a B&B and it was such a pleasure! The cottage/house was beautiful and very well maintained. The bedroom we had was so cute & comfy. I slept really well and the bathroom and shower especially, well let’s just say my husband loved the rainfall shower head😀. Bob, our host made us a delicious pancake breakfast and was a pleasure to talk to. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else!

The property was well maintained and close to the historic downtown. It was within easy driving distance of everything that we wanted to see in Fort Myers. The host was a great conversationalist and gave great information on places to visit. He was also an awesome chef, the breakfasts were amazing. The only negative was that it is located on a busy street and you hear the traffic, but the positives far outweigh the noise.

Go in shoulder season
This was a very nice B&B in a great location in walking distance to downtown. You might want to consider going in shoulder season, however, as you might catch a break on the nightly rate. It was a little pricey. But overall a nice stay with very nice hosts.
