Boaters retreat

Great property, clean, nice pool. Extra items to use for beach trips. Couch was not comfortable for sleeping on but beds were great.

Location Close to Good Restaurants and Bridge to Ft Myers

The Yacht Club area is a long way from being recovered from the hurricanes so lots of construction in the area and abandoned homes. Construction was going on right next door that put a damper on the stay as the dirt and concrete dust made the pool unusable for much of the time. Home was clean but lacking in some amenities. Property manager was responsive. Location is great for restaurants, shopping etc.

Traumhaftes Bootshaus mit allem Komfort

Da Eintritt über Tür Code Ankunft flexibel möglich - Hausverwaltung spricht dann Termin für Check in ab - was bei uns dann montags morgens war , weil wir erst sonntags abends angekommen sind . Es gibt ein schönes Buch mit den wichtigsten Infos im Haus. Das Haus ist sehr schick und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wifi sehr gut und schnell. Es gibt alles was man braucht an Geschirr etc Pfannen , Töpfe etc top. Die 4 Fahrräder waren prima für kurzen Ausflug zum Strand oder Yachthaus. Tolle, saubere und sichere Umgebung. Supermarkt und Restaurants im 5-15 min Entfernung. Pool sehr schön und gute Größe- tolle überdachte Terasse draußen und super die Stühle am Bootssteg. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Top auch das man das eine Bad direkt vom Pool aus erreichenden zum Abduschen vorher/ nachher. Bequeme Liegen am Pool. Große Küche mit zahlreichen Elektronischen Geräten. Großer Essbereich mit bequemen Stühlen. Super Waschmaschine und Trockner. So konnten wir nach der 1. Ferienwoche einiges direkt durch waschen.

Great House and Location

Just wrapped up two months of sunshine every day at the perfect location in Cape Coral! We used the pool almost every day and never had to use the heat pump to warm the water. The solar panels on the roof kept the water close to 90 all day. The house has been redone and has new appliances and lots of TVs. We rode our bikes uptown to most of the restaurants. We met Andre, Caro and their baby (the owners) great people! Would definitely stay there again. Al and Lisa

Boathouse awesome

A nice 1-week vacation

Overall the rental was very good for us and what we were looking for. We spent a lot of time in the pool / lanai area. The pool could have been a touch warmer but overall it was refreshing once in the pool (wasn't for the lack of heat / sunshine...air temps were in the mid to upper 80's). We made full use of the lounge chairs by the pool and the table & chairs next to the pool. The dock area was very nice when we had a private chartered boat day-trip that was able to come there and pick us up for our day out on the ocean. We could drink out on the water without any fear of having to drive anywhere to get home. The furnishings in the house are a little sparse, there's only a very large (and nice) leather sectional sofa in the living room. Could have used a few chairs. We bought an inexpensive floor mat to put down inside the dining room area for the doorway leading from the pool to the house, otherwise with the ceramic tile any little amount of moisture was leading to very slippery floors. I don't recall if we left it there but if so hopefully it stays in use because it made a huge difference. The beds were fairly comfortable, we got a good night's sleep most of the time. We didn't use the grill, but we did point out to the property manager that the grill was broken (the left side shelf was loose and fell off when we took the cover off to inspect it). The bolts that hold it in place need repair, which hopefully the property manager does have taken care of. She did take pictures of the issue. The dishes, glasses, and cookware were sufficient, although the sink could use a drainer to put hand-washed dishes in to have them dry. We couldn't find a second garbage bag for our garbage but managed to make the one we had work for our stay...hopefully more are provided for the next renters. Also, we were left with 1 dishwashing tablet to start our stay...we bought a bag of them and left them there so hopefully the next renter gets full use of them, as well as the hand soap we bought for the 2nd bathroom, because what was in their dispenser was quite gross, honestly. We never had a physical check out either...we had to leave at 5:30 AM on our final day and the property manager never made any arrangements with us after we told her when we were leaving. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and this rental suited our needs fairly nicely. There's just a few little items that would be easy to fix that could make this an outstanding rental.

Great home in a perfect location.

This home was perfect for our needs. My first thought when walking in was "this place feels really clean". The amenities were great. The washer and dryer are in good shape, and there was room to park our car in the garage. The pool chairs are nice, and the beach supplies were a really nice touch. Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach mats, and coolers are all on hand. There are 4 nice bikes that came in handy as the location is perfect. We biked to the beach, and also to the downtown area. The Adirondacks on the dock were also nice. We spent a lot of time by the canal. The grill is fantastic. And with the farmer's market nearby, we cooked a lot of fresh seafood. The owner is not in the US, so the time difference effected the communication a little, but Andre was ALWAYS very quick to respond. He was really easy to work with. There were a few issues along the way, but nothing that was severe enough to cause any stress. We have rented homes through VRBO on multiple occasions and know that sometimes things just happen. We loved this house, and were ready to rent again next year until the rat showed up. It chewed its way through a screen in the kitchen and went on tour. We kept it corralled in the kitchen and it went back out the same way it got in. It really wasn't a big deal. There was an old grill sitting just below the kitchen window. We think that the rat went from the grill to the kitchen. Move the grill and no more rat. What upset us was the response (or lack of) from the property manager. We called her for suggestions on what to do and left a voicemail. We never heard from her. We reached out to the owner the next morning and heard back immediately. He explained that the property manager didn't receive the phone call. Apparently she didn't see the voice mail waiting for her either?? We never heard from her. The reason we decided not to re-book this property was that we were concerned with the lack of response from the property manager. We were fortunate that we could handle the issue. If it had been an issue that we couldn't handle, we were pretty much on our own. This combined with those other small issues I mentioned were enough to change our minds about booking again. A different local contact person would make all the difference in the world. We had a different contact check us out, so maybe a switch is already in process.

Nice place, hard to communicate

It’s a nice place, however the owners live in Germany so it’s hard to get in quick contact with them. They have someone look over the property for them, but she doesn’t answer very quickly either. Place is well kept but they have a lot of hidden fee’s that can add up if you’re not careful.

A Personal Paradise

What a lovely home and area of Cape Coral. The home was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful pool and relaxing dock area. During our stay, we experienced a hot spell and the pool was wonderful. The solar heater kept the water temperature a warm 92 degrees. The neighborhood was quiet and very friendly. Our daily walk and bike ride experience was so relaxing. The other people out doing the same were so pleasant and friendly. The owner kept in contact with us to ensure our stay was smooth and relaxing. A wonderful 5 weeks for us.

Clean, great location, great pool, comfortable!

The house was comfortable and very clean. Comfortable beds! The owner and property manager were accessible and prompt to respond. We extended our stay at the last minute to stay in the sun rather than return home to a snowstorm. All maintenance personnel were friendly and efficient. The pool lanai was where we spent the majority of our time! We fished off the dock; tied up our rental boat; enjoyed the pool; made use of the provided bikes; and relished the privacy. It’s a great location with easy access to the farmers market, yacht club, and restaurants. The kitchen had all the items needed for cooking and we appreciated the laundry facilities. Our stay was relaxing and refreshing. Great rental experience.
