This rental is by Vacasa Property Management rather than a human being. Good condo set up & good views of the ocean right on the beach. BUT if you expect any sort of customer service from the Vacasa company forget it. You are on your own to figure it out.
I tried contacting the Vacasa company multiple times with various questions & concerns on the day of arrival. From simple check in queries to being locked out of the building.
None of the messages that were left through VRBO messaging were ever responded to. I was on hold for over 25 minutes to trouble shoot a wifi issue & gave up after no answer. Even the online housing guide to troubleshoot anything wasn't accessible as it wouldn't recognize the ID numbers that were provided.
The condo building has a security feature in which 10pm to 8 a.m. you need a key card to get into the building. Seems like a nice idea for security. However, our key cards were not functioning & I found out the hard way that I was locked out of the building on day of arrival when I went to the beach at night while my friends slept.
I again called the company & this time because I said I had a "security issue" using the automated system, I actually spoke with a live person after being on hold for 10 minutes. The operator was nice enough, but I was told on the phone to "wake up my friends" to let me into the building as the security personal for the condo unit may not be available to let me in. Seriously, that was the solution? Nor was there any suggestions to rectify the key card access issues for the rest of the stay. I had to figure that out on my own.
Any other issues I had since the day of arrival I didn't even bother wasting my time trying to get a hold of the rental company to rectify since my written communication went unread and unanswered the entire visit.
Issues with the condo itself, Wifi wouldn't connect & after 2 days of trying & finally connecting it was so slow it wasn't worth being connected. Bathroom fan didn't work, kitchen sprayer didn't work, the door in one of the bedrooms that was supposed to open to the balcony didn't unlock & open, & noted torn screening in the balcony.
On day 3 of our trip my friend urged me to try calling again with the hopes to rectify the issues we were having for this rental. After being on hold this time for over 80 minutes, I gave up. Seriously, 80 minutes!!
My friends & I WILL NOT BE RENTING FROM VACASA AGAIN.
