Fantastic week on the beach

We stayed in this house simple beach house for a full week, just a month after the Milton hurricane. Jon ( the owner) was very helpful before our stay to keep us up to date on how the house and the beach was doing after the storms. He also worked fast on fixing the few things that need attention after the storm, to make sure our trip would be as we had hoper for. During our stay, Jon would send us recommendations on what to do and Where to go. And maybe most important how to spend halloween with the kids. During our week, we fished from the private dock every night and caught quite a few catfish and snapper. We drove to the Barefoot beach , Sanibel Island and Bow ditch point. ( all beaches within 30 min with car) and of course we also spent alot of time at the Wilde incredibly beautiful fort Myers Beach, only 5 minutes walk from the house. We also had a few really nice sunsets at Margaritaville, Where you can get easily with an uber or with the FT Myers tram ( 50 cents) Jon let us have late check out, as our flight was a late night flight which have is one more day in the pool ;)We could have stayed for one more week , and Will definitlwy come back.

Great location Nice House

The property was nice, well kept and easy to find. The only reason I did not rate as 5-stars was because there was a problem with the pool (unbeknown to the owner) which caused us not to be able to use the pool during our stay. **HOWEVER I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW** The owner stayed in constant contact with me while he kept trying to resolve the issue. Owner tried his best to get pool fixed during our stay and actually had people there trying to resolve the problem, but since they were unable to rectify problem during our stay he offed a partial refund of our payment.

Amazing property in a great location

We had a wonderful stay! Home was just as described and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the pool. Access to Fort Myers beach was an easy walk from the house. Owner was very responsive and checked in regularly. Perfect place to take a break from our routine and enjoy time with family! Would definitely recommend!

great place to stay

Had a wonderful time. the place was easy to get to quiet and relaxing. All of us had a good time. There are a few things that need addressed. The only reason for the 4 stars on accuracy is the pool and the channel behind the property. the pool was super cold and not heated like we would have liked. We are from Indiana so it's cold and the pool was cold enough the kids didn't swim much and me and the wife tried it but that was a no go. LOL The Kayak would have been fun but there was no way to get to the water so that was not going to happen as well.

Great house, great host

Really great house for our family of 6. Good size, good facilities, really great pool. And having dolphins swim past every morning and iguanas in the garden was just a massive added bonus. Jon is a friendly, very helpful host. Gave us a very comprehensive welcome pack, checked everything was ok while we were there, and even helped find a soft toy my daughter left behind! Definitely recommend this house and host. Thank you so much.

Family Trip

This property had everything my family needled. My grandson was so happy every day. Even though the area still has a lot of work to go for complete recovery my family would have spent every day in the pool or fishing off the deck.

Great VACAY

My family and I were long overdue for a relaxing “chill” vacation. The home was perfect! We loved the infinity pool overlooking the canal. There were lots of floats and toys for the pool there. For the beach day the beach was a close distance, it could be walkable but the Florida heat coerced us into driving. Easy place to park and get to beach. Another great perk was there were at least 4 umbrellas and a chair for all of us! Ft. Myers is coming back, it felt good to play a small part in stimulating their small businesses.

Great property for family

Property was prefect for our 2 families of 4. Pool was an awesome feature. Beach wasn't too far away and was beautiful. Area is still in the recovery process from the hurricane. Many businesses have reopened in some form and could use the support of tourism. If you're looking to enjoy a relaxing experience at a normally busy location now is the time

Great place

We had a wonderful stay. The place was nice and the owners communication was exemplary. Had a few Dolphin visits that the kids absolutely loved. We also opted to rent a boat and I drive it up through the channel and picked everyone up right from the back yard. A few little things like that really made this place a very nice pick. We also loved the pool!

Amazing stay

We were very impressed with the home. All the listing was accurate, pictures don't do justice for the home, and Jon was amazing with communication. There were 5 adults and 2 kids staying and we all loved the home and had plenty of room. Quick 7 minute walk to the beach, the pool was fantastic, and we even saw a baby shark in the canal. The home was clean and had everything that would be needed for a week stay including pool&bath towels, extra bedding, basic spices/seasonings, all cooking items, coffee maker, etc. Jon was very easy to communicate with via email, checked that we got checked in ok, and stayed in consistent contact during the week. Definitely try out Mom's Kitchen for breakfast while staying, the food was amazing. Same with Coconut Jacks in Bonita Springs, absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Beach vacation

Everything was great, we saw dolphins and caught fish at the house! Very close and easy walk to the beach. The pool is fantastic and lots of kids toys for the pool and the beach at the house. Jon was great with communication and a great host. We will be staying here again in the future.

Excellent Location & Accommodations

We traveled with both adults and children. The house was kid friendly and had just about everything that you would need traveling with children. Pool floats, pack n play, high chairs, bicycles, scooters and an umbrella stroller along with plenty of shade and outdoor furniture while using the pool. The adults enjoyed the bicycles, fishing equipment, fishing nets and the grill! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Fabulous property

This was a wonderful place to stay! Short commute to the beach and included beach towels. The house had plenty of towels with washing machine with detergent included. Coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, seasonings, oil and misc other items that I almost never find at other rentals was included!! These items helped jump start our vacation like never before! Will be renting this place again!

Perfect Location

We just got back from a weeks long trip. The house was clean and a good size for our large group- we never felt cramped. Jon is very nice and even checked in to make sure everything was going well. We had an issue- free trip! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus things like beach toys and fishing poles that we didn’t expect. The pool is beautiful! The house is about a 5 minute walk from the beach. There’s tons to do in Fort Myers Beach and this house is close to it all. We had the best vacation here. We rented a boat, went parasailing, went to the beach, swam, fished, and even did a day trip to the Everglades. Our kids were very entertained at the house and we had to drag them out of the pool every night. This will go down as one of our best vacations ever and hopefully we will be able to make it back soon!

Cue the Pelicans!

We had to make a change to our travel plans at the last minute (who hasn't recently). Jon and Tracy, our hosts, moved Heaven and Earth to get us to Ft. Myers, and made arrangements for us to get to his home off hours. And we are so glad they did! The house is beautiful, clean, stocked with anything you might need for a beach visit, sits close enough to walk to the beach yet sits in a very quiet neighborhood. And then there is the infinity pool which sits just off a canal (we saw a manatee and had multiple pelican dives just off of the dock). And if iguanas are your thing, there are some of those too. The house and pool are so nice, we spent quite a bit of time staying to just enjoy the property. We're already checking our calendar to schedule a return visit. Loved it.
