The unit was very clean, updated and nicely appointed. Communication with the Host was easy and prompt when we needed a response. Check-in was super easy. The pool was a nice feature and the view was terrific, although there was a pontoon boat suspended in a lift that blocked much of it. This boat was not shown in any of the photos. As nice as the pool was, we did have to share it and one of the other tenants was a family with 2 children who spent hours in the pool and on the dock. While we understood we would be sharing, it was more than we had hoped for so be aware that it's not exclusive. The bedroom was nice but the mattress is quite firm. As mentioned communication was prompt when we had to reach out about the living room A/C split unit that was not responding to the thermostat, making the unit uncomfortably warm. We appreciated the call back from the landlord and they were extremely accomodating although we fixed it (twice) by just turning off and on the remote. The walk to the beach is easy and the included charis, wagon, cooler and umbrella were so great to have! The beach and the sunsets are unbelievable. Publix is a fairly close drive. The only drag on the location is getting to TImes Square area. It took us about 35 minutes by car to travel 3.5 miles north! The main rd - Estero Blvd. - is the only main throuroughfare so it gets very backed up. Bike rentals are recommended. It's a 20 minute bike ride if you're inclined. Overall, a recommended stay.
