The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Although we did not do a lot of cooking the kitchen was well equipped. Great beach access. Owner was easily accessible although we did not need to contact during our stay.

The Blue Lagoon was a fabulous stay! Our family of 5 stayed over Christmas and enjoyed everything about the property! The short walk to the beach was awesome with chairs and cart provided. The heated pool was delightful too. The cottage is decorated to feel like a real home and most of all Gabriela has stocked it with everything you could need. The kitchen had more small appliances and pots, pans , etc than my own home! There were bikes on property but the chains were rusted so we chose to rent some. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!!

Very cute house in great location. Short walk to the beach. The host thought of everything! There was a wagon to use to take stuff to the beach. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, cooler, sand toys, boogie boards, etc. were provided. Lots of stuff for the pool, too was provided. Floaties for kids, noodles, etc. The pool was the perfect temperature and absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed!

Our stay at the Blue Lagoon was wonderful. Communication with Gabriella was so easy for the couple of questions we had. The pool was so refreshing after a day of playing baseball and the house was very clean with plenty of amenities for cooking and enjoying meals. Location was great to walk up to the beach or take a short ride to Times Square for the restaurants and pubs. Thank you so much for hospitality Gabriella, your house is lovely.

Overall, the stay was a place to stay close to the beach. The first night, the air conditioning quit working. It was up to 87 in the house and after discussions with the owner, the air was fixed the next evening. After reading the welcome book, we found out that tenants are limited on how cool the house temperature can be due to possibility of the unit freezing, repairs are at tenants expense. A few days later, the pump to the pool went haywire and backwashed stuff into the pool, and with water spraying directly on to the electric box, our 17 yr old was asked to turn off the breaker. Our daughter also continued to be bit by something in her bed which lead to additional stripping of the bed to wash and to clean the room in fear of either bed bugs or sand fleas. After review it seems as if the mattress covers are not cleaned frequently as well as cleaning around furniture. Nearly every dish used had to be washed from residue remaining on the dishes. My better half threw away empty boxes that other tenants had left behind, washed dishes that was put away dirty and sticky, washed all linnens and towels. There is a short in one of the lights in one of the bedrooms, a cord plugged in in the utility shed that has a metal prong stuck out of it which is a concern for any family with small children. Issues brought up didnt seem like big concerns, so we quit bringing things up. We ended the stay early.

The best part of the experience is the owner attention and communication with us. The house overall was more than excellent for the three of us. The amenities including the pool and beach equipment was great to have. The house itself has all the kitchen appliances and tools anyone would need. Laundry room with washer and dryer is great. The front balcony is an extra plus with ample room. Maybe Would be nice to have a non-pet friendly house, but that wasn't so bad. The location is great in terms of beach access. Would rent again.

Beautiful vacation home. Definitely would recommend bringing cookware if you are planning on cooking meals. The pots and pans are definitely in need of replacement. Our favorite area was the pool area which was perfect.

We’ve stayed several times now and are never disappointed. The house is wonderful with all the amenities you need. The pool feels private and is great for cooling off. The best part is you’re just a couple minutes from beautiful Fort Myers beach. There is also plenty to do on the island and if you want to go exploring most places are within a reasonable distance. We personally like to explore Bonita springs and the fish house restaurant there is fantastic. Lastly our host was very helpful and responsive the entire trip. Couldn’t recommend this stay more!

Great kid friendly house

This was a great house with a great location, not far from the beach access with the crosswalk being at the end of the street. The house was very accommodating for both children and dogs, providing pretty much everything we needed. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Family getaway

Renting this house was one of the choices we’ve made when traveling. Our group was 5 guests- 2 couples and a child. Starting with the host- she was super responsive and easy to work with. Flexible and accommodating. The house itself was pretty great. Starting with the outside it has a nice driveway with ample shaded parking. The landscaping was really cute and we were delighted to find the pathway lit at night. The pool in the back was just perfect. There was plenty of seating options in the shade and in the sun. We contributed to the pool toys but there was a tube and a floating lounge available for use along with pumps. We saw the grill but opted to DoorDash instead. Don’t forget there is a shower outside WITH hot water if needed to rinse off after the beach. And a wagon and lots of chairs to use at the beach!Inside we found a well decorated beach vibe house with high ceilings and nice light. Kitchen well appointed- even had an electric kettle. Plenty of room for our group. It was SO nice to have the washer and dryer available. There were some toys and games which was nice. I saw a few books too. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach. It reallly is only A 2 minute walk so there’s no excuse not to catch a beautiful sunset. We will definitely consider this rental the next time we visit FMB. It was a great stay.

Wonderful Property & Experience

Our family of 3 generations including a 7 and 5 year old , really enjoyed this property!! It is as described. With kids that age, we sure got our money’s worth from the pool. And if you’re concerned about too much sun, no worries - plenty of shade and places to relax by the pool. The floor plan is family friendly and open. I found the front, screened in porch a lovely spot to escape the hoopla and drink my coffee and read. It’s a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The beach is a short walk away and goes on forever and lots of shells to fascinate the little ones. Around the area there are plenty of reminders of the devastating hurricane from almost 3 years ago. Makes you appreciate all the more this lovely property. Great communication with the property manager. We would return to Blue Lagoon, for sure!Thank you, Gabriela!!
