Captains Bay 201 is a lovely way to spend your vacation! Beautifully decorated, this 2 Bedroom/2 Bath condo has a pretty view of the Preserve and a wonderful kitchen that will make Captains Bay 201 your favorite spot to relax in sunny Florida and come back to year after year.

First you are greeted with a screened in porch which offers the perfect place to stop and sit, especially if you are wet and sandy from the pool or beach and need some time to dry off before going inside. Open the front door and you are treated to an open concept, sunlit filled living area with a view of the Preserve and Bird Sanctuary and the canal that lines the area. Spacious and filled with comfortable furniture (reclining sofas), the living room has a large screen TV. There's a dining area with a table for four and a lovely picture window. The newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and plenty of granite topped counter space. The laundry room is just off the kitchen and boasts a full washer and dryer. Adjacent to the kitchen is a space with a desk and table and chairs perfect for working remotely. The open floor living area leads to the best feature in the condo - a screened in lanai with dining furniture to relax in. The lanai is your gateway to the preserve, where you can watch the rare birds of the island - egrets, herons, roseate spoonbills - nesting and feeding.

The large Master Bedroom sports a King Sized Bed, a beautiful picture window with a view of the preserve, private lanai access, and its own TV, while the Master Bedroom walk in closet is enormous. The En Suite Master Bath features dual vanities, and a separate room for the toilet and walk in shower. The Guest Bedroom is also rather large and has a Queen Sized Bed. Guest Bath sits right next door.

This unit offers free WiFi, ample parking, and a building elevator. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.

Captain's Bay is a wonderful and welcoming community located in the quiet south end of Fort Myers Beach, just across the street from our world famous beach, and features resort amenities - heated pool and sundeck with lounge chairs, picnic area, BBQ grill. Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer, including our world famous sunsets.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Now open, Santini Marina Plaza, close by, will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bight Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.

We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds. However, we are ready to welcome visitors back and certain you will enjoy our beautifully restored, white sandy beaches and turquoise blue Gulf waters. Your vacation home has been renovated and inspected prior to your arrival.
