  • Total privacy, including no contact self check-in, at this immaculate, secluded lake front home. Enjoy nature at its finest at this waterfront cabin! Entertain all of your lakeside desires in the crystal clear waters of Lake Kerr in Salt Springs, FL! Bring your boats (put in at Moorhead Boat Ramp) and your floats and your fishing poles too or enjoy the 4 single kayaks provided for your use!

    There's so much to do in and around the Ocala National Forest! A favorite is to boat (by paddle or motor) Salt Springs Run, which comes from Salt Springs. The spring flows 52 million gallons per day and is a constant 72 degrees year round. The water is beautifully clear and the bottom is white sand. If you don’t have a boat, you may rent one at Salt Springs Marina, or just swim the springs at Salt Springs Recreation Area, just 2 miles from the cabin!

    You may also choose to never leave the cabin with beautiful Lake Kerr steps away from the cabin doors. Enjoy long afternoons and evenings on the expansive patio with fire pit overlooking the lake or indulge yourself in the Hot Springs Grande hot tub on the deck. Commune with nature in our outdoor shower. Inside you'll find hardwood floors and granite countertops along with all the comforts of home. Enjoy your favorite shows on the new 60" television and sleep well in the ultra comfortable bedrooms. The lakeside bedroom features a king bed and the second bedroom has 2 queen beds to maximize guest sleeping! The well equipped kitchen with the open lake views makes "kitchen duty" a pleasure.

    Come, relax and stay awhile at this lakeside retreat!

Host was prompt and accommodating. Definitely rural Florida, fine for us but dining and shopping options are limited without a lengthy drive. If you’re staying long bring bulk of supplies with you. Honestly, in our opinion asking guests to haul their own trash nearly 10 miles round trip is inconvenient and would recommend coming up with other arrangements.

The goal was quiet and peace and this beautiful cabin on the lake delivered! It was way down a dirt road and right on the water's edge. Beautiful inside and out and the hot tub was a huge plus!

Wonderful Vacation! We were looking for a special place to take our boys, 9 and 14, on a break to connect with nature. This beautiful cabin has amazing sunset views that are different every night, abundant wildlife life that you can spot daily, and so many opportunities to connect with nature nearby with trails, springs, kayaking, and more. Kathy was a great host and we can't wait to go back to create new family memories in this beautiful spot.

We had a great time at the lakefront cabin!! Kathy was super helpful whenever we had questions, the beds were comfortable and even with rainy days the majority of our stay being on the lake was still beautiful!

Nice get away if you’re looking for peace and quiet

We had a very nice time the house is lovely and the scenery is beautiful. We wanted a place to have a bonfire and just unwind and this was perfect.

Tranquility

My husband and two adult daughters loved the peaceful beauty of this place. It had all the comforts of home but was better because we had a beautiful lake to kayak in and admire and a hot tub to soak in! It was a very clean and comfortable house too and had everything we needed.
