Early check in ok'd
I needed a room for the day rather than overnight. I was able to have access to my booked room earlier than check in. I really appreciated this because I was required to stay from morning until night and needing a rest during tbe day.

For a horrible and cheap motel it was ok. But the room could have used a bit of work. The grills on the mini furnace needed to be cleaned and painted. The diverter for the shower did not work. The building looked pretty beat up.

Property was convenient to the location where the event we were attending was located. It was also easy to get to off the highway. Checkin wasn’t easy as location seemed to be unaware of our reservation as they didn’t use computer, we had to pull up our reservation email to verify we had a reservation. Ended up getting charged again (in addition to what was paid via Expedia). Location attempted to process refund but never came through on account.we were out 68 dollers

Don’t stay here
The units are very run down. Over one third of the outside lights at the doors to the units were burnt out. There was no safety lock in the units. No drop box for the key at check out but you had to return the key before you left. I had to ring the bell at the office at 6 am. It was answered by a man without a shirt or shoes on. Would never stay here again.

Served it’s purpose but wouldn’t stay again
We arrive very late and just needed to sleep for a few hours. No issues checking in or out. The bed was clean and made nicely. The room had been updated but was still worn. The tub was dirty and there was hair on the bath mat. Not as nice as hoped but it was convenient for sleeping.

Very old hotel and outside is run down. Work needs to be done on inside as well showing wear and tear. No breakfast provided.

Too expensive for what you get...
This location is an old motel, not a hotel. The room we were given, number 8, had 2 queen beds which were very comfortable. There was a mini fridge and microwave. They also provided a waste basket and recycle bin. The motel is near some restaurants and a grocery store is just a block away. These are my gripes. The room, while comfy, was just a room. There are no amenities here--we asked about an ice machine and were handed ziplock bags with ice. The toilet handle was loose and the bathroom smelled faintly of urine. One of the beds had a support slat that had previously broken off of the bed frame and someone had obviously tried to nail it back in place. The repair job was not well done and this slat fell to the floor at least twice in the 14 hours we occupied the room. We checked in after 7pm, but the younger man at the reception desk said he had just finished making up the room...? The place wasn't that busy, so it was odd that the housekeeping hadn't been completed hours earlier. Then, for some reason, he couldn't locate the key to the door, but did come by a little later to drop it off to us. The price of this 1-night stay was excessive. When I made my booking, there were less expensive options in this town, but I opted for this place hoping for more comfort and fewer problems. I would probably not stay here again on my next trip to Canada.

Don't expect good service
Adequate accommodations in a good-size room. Neighborhood was noisy with people yelling from their cars, speeding down the street. We arrived after 10 p.m. with a reservation for 3. By the time we unloaded and realized there were no sheets for the futon bed or towels for a third person, the office was closed and no one would answer the bell. In the morning, I was able to get another towel from the rather disgruntled desk agent from the night before, who said I should have told him the reservation was for three people. Really? Wasn't it his job to have the room ready for three people since that is what we reserved? He was quick enough to charge a pet fee but did not refund us the difference between a 2-person room and a 3-person room, though we clearly were not given those accommodations.

Once again, the survey is in Spanish. This hotel was very nice. The agent at the desk, very friendly. The room was very comfortable, except for the AC. Isn’t it wasn’t turned on prior to my arriving and the room was hot. I had a difficult time turning the AC on, but once I did, i was able to enjoy the room. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet, and the little details such as glass tumblers has me want to visit again, the next time I’m in town.

Average stay, nothing to brag about!
Check in was great, room was great. However since one bed is located in a separate room, it is the only room with an air conditioner. The main room with a bed had no AC or fan. I am not even sure where the heat source is if you were to come in winter. The room had a distinct odour almost like fish we couldn't place the location of the smell. However once we got in the washroom we found no exhaust and had to crack open the window by the tub. Not too bad in summer but like I said, winter is a different scenario. The tub also didn't drain fast enough when in the shower and there weren't enough sockets to plug in your devices to charge. Overall not a bad place to stay in summer but I wouldn't book here again.

Had a wonderful stay at the Bethel Hotel in Fort Macleod. Was clean, the bed was comfortable and the service excellent. Only suggestion would be to have a drop box to leave our key as we left early. Would definitely stay here again.

The young man at the front was very nice and accommodating. When we first arrived we were pleasantly surprised, given the reasonable price, but within hours we found several ants, beetles, and long crawly things. I am not the type that freaks out over a few bugs, but this was too much. This needs to be addressed (possibly fumigated?). Also, better locks are required on the doors.

This is the nicest hotel in Fort MacLeod. There are no old and stinky carpets, the floors are new. Stylish brand new furniture and beds, kitchenette. If you plan to cook, carry your own stuff. A stove is available but no pots and pans, and dishes are sparse. Some details will be looked after I’m sure like trim around the bathroom windows.

Would not recommend staying here
This hotel had promising reviews online, 3 stars everywhere you look. So I booked three rooms, as we had some work to be done in and around Fort MacLeod. When you arrive you check in which went well. But then you get to the rooms, and the furnaces scream and smell as if there going to catch fire. The sheets had blood stains on them. The doors look like they have been kicked in a few times. The blue neon lights, the ones you’d find at strip joints, shine right in your window, making it hard to sleep. The one huge kicker too, 2/3 of the rooms had little beetles in them crawling around. Would recommend not staying at this joint, we moved to Lethbridge for the next 3 nights, even know that resulted in an additional 1 hour each morning and night to get to our hotel. At least the room was clean and you felt your belongings were secured!

Though the hotel is small, it has all amenities and neatly arranged. I prefer to come again. Sanitation also has been taken care of due to Covid-19
