Great place-within walking distance of beach, restaurants, and shops. Provided beach chairs, beach towels-everything needed to head to the beach! Pool and hot tub were perfect-overlooking intracoastal.Owner was responsive and gave an awesome welcome gift. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Stay!

We could not have loved our stay at Kaukuta’s property more. The location was incredible — fun to watch the intracoastal, easy walk to the beach. The apartment itself was great — comfortable bed, kitchen with all that we needed, and nice living room. Kaukuta was an incredibly welcoming host — easy communication and complimentary welcome basket. We will be back!

Perfect Getaway!

Kanda Zen was exactly what we hoped for and more! K was cordial and helpful at our check-in and everything was as expected. great arrival gift in the fridge and comfortable and clean accommodations. The pool and water views were beautiful especially at sunset. This is a return trip for us without a doubt!

Peaceful happiness

This place was everything you see in their pictures and more. Secure and quiet and definitely relaxing. If you have sleep issues you certainly won't have them here. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Pompano Beach, if walking is your thing then this is perfect with lots to do within walking distance. Thanks K for an amazing place to stay!!

Beautiful setting

So incredible to take a walk in the early morning along Pompano Beach and come back to sit by the canal and watch the boats almost within reach. Owner was extremely responsive to any request. You will love your stay.

Great Location

Clean apartment with everything you need, host provided welcome basket with snacks & wine. There was beer & water in the refrigerator, free laundry services, and they even provided beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, etc. Sitting on the dock, watching the boats is peaceful or you can enjoy the pool/hot tub.

Beautiful Florida Getaway

Well equipped unit located directly on the water. Short walk to the beach and restaurants. Centrally located for easy drive to Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami. Would highly recommend renting with Kanda Zen.

Excellent!!

Communication from booking to checkout was 5 star. We stayed in apartment 2. Spotless! We arrived late and had a wonderful gift package in the fridge plus beverages to welcome us. There’s a large sitting area with tv. The kitchen fully equipped and all the items were organized and everything looked new and matched and nothing missing. No mismatch poor quality items at all! All you could possibly need is available to cook from home. Nice dish-ware large glasses to take to the pool. Everything provided. Even dish soap, sponge and starter paper towel roll. Bedroom with tv was huge with king size bed. Beyond comfortable with bagged and sanitizers blankets. Large dresser and huge closet. Black out window coverings made sleeping perfect. The bathroom has a great shower and linens are quality. Beach towels are high quality. Pool is amazing with plenty of space umbrellas and amazing view open to the waterway to swim in the pool and watch boats going by. No fighting for chairs or umbrellas. We had the pool mostly to ourselves on most days. Several BBQ are available which we used. One right outside our patio. We had no car. Walked to publics daily. If needed there is a shopping cart for use. Beach supplies are available. Chairs, coolers and umbrellas and a cart high quality. Made the trip to the beach so easy!! Laundry facilities are clean and everything you need in case you need to wash. Self check and check out however we were checked on to make sure all was well. Don’t hesitate to book here as the place is perfect for an amazing vacation. Location, amenities are are perfect and the owner genuinely cares for his guests and property. We have rented vacation stay’s for 20 years and I recommend this property 100%. The description in the ad is exactly as advertised.

Wonderful location/ a beautiful gem

The apartment was perfect- very clean and all appliances and linens were top notch. The location was wonderful. We could sit out by the pool on the inter coastal and enjoy the beautiful boats going by or walk five minutes to a gorgeous beach. The newly restored Pompano pier ( a short walk away) and the surrounding pier area is gorgeous with lots of great restaurants. We particularly loved the Taco Joint and Oceanic.. And of course Kilwins for ice cream. Definitely returning next year!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks and what you read in all the reviews is true! The owner is very attentive but not in your business, the property is well taken care of, and you can’t beat the views. Close walk to a beautiful beach with clear water and soft sand. My husband did some fishing right off the back dock and caught several fish. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided, even a book exchange shelf! Loved it!!! We are already checking our calendars to see when we can get back here. Thank you!

Wonderful Getaway

If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place to stay in Pompano Beach then look no further! Kanda Zen is a wonderful place! A wonderful place to watch the boats and the pool was great! House was well equipped with everything and was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again!

Kanda Zen is exactly as you see it online. Well maintained property, spacious apartment, (we were in a one bedroom) well stocked kitchen, bathroom and beach towels, extra thoughtful amenities. A welcome basket that has something for every age. Everything worked and functioned as it should. K was there to greet us on arrival and very helpful in helping us get settled in. Was a phone call away if needed and visited the property on a regular basis. Very nice area to sit and watch the boats go by on the intercoastal. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Comfortable, clean and convenient

Kanda Zen was lovely. We were welcomed by Kaukuta and shown around, then left to ourselves. A welcome basket was a nice touch and the furnishings were modern. The apartment smelled lovely and clean the minute we opened the door. Kaukuta helped with a problem we had almost immediately which was much appreciated. Beach chairs umbrellas and coolers were available for use and with the beach less than 5 min walk away we could not have chosen a better place. We travelled to Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale visiting historic homes and using the water taxi, but if you have no car the beach, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Our stay was fabulous and I would definitely stay here again. By the way.... How could I forget the river view.... sitting eating lunch watching the boats go by was great. You will not be disappointed if you choose Kanda Zen.

Clean, perfect and close to beach. Remarkable customer service.

The owner went out of his way to accommodate us. I stay often at vrbo rentals. This was by far the cleanest with really nice touches. The owner met us upon arrival and departure. Any requests during our stay were immediately responded to. It’s exactly as it appears in pictures. Can’t recommend highly enough.
