Some guests have extreme sensitivities to smells and of course if that’s ok and I said they are welcome to leave and give them a full refund if they didn’t like it. This guest refused to leave- clearly it wasn’t that bad- and wouldn’t allow me to come in and wouldn’t answer the door. I’m additional to a bad review they are demanding to have a full refund for entire stay for over a week! It’s clear the character of the person is showing through

Beware HOSTS!! This guest threatened me personally and looked up my employment info & tried to blackmail me for money. Very scary & creepy. They informed me they didnt want to stay and were supposed to cancel with VRBO.They did not until after the stay was over so I could never book another guest- which is the reason I did not refund. I always am willing to accomodate any concerns and/or issues a guest may have. But you must be willing as a guest to do what you say as well, in this case cancelling on the spot so I could refund.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes the washer & dryer is coin operated as stated in property description. The hall closet has mop & broom. My cleaning company can always "refresh" if vacuuming is needed. Each bathroom is given hand towels, wash cloths, and bath towels if there is a shortage please advise us and we will provide more on the spot! Maintence man lives next door and can instantly handle any problems and/or concerns- Im always ready & available for guests! No beach equipment is provided and is not listed in description due to not return of items.

The sheets are professionally cleaned at an off site place, not done personally. Not sure if your luggage or feet brought in any dust/dirt.

Hello, my neighbors called my personal number at night time complaining about the noise level and they informed me there was drug usuage on the property. He was going to call the police to come & I convinced him I would talk to the guests so he wouldnt have too. This is the only reason I called at 1 am & I dont consider this as rude since any place would do the same after multiple complaints. I dont even understand how race is even an issue since it was a self check in & I never even knew what the race was of my guests. I feel it was rude the guest didnt answer & never even acknowledged me the remainder of the stay.

Hello, this property is located on the New River of Ft Lauderdale, a unique natural waterway that highlights the diversity of Fort Lauderdale’s heritage.The house has a large fenced backyard and some boats parked along the dock on the river where people live on them! It’s completely separate from the house and a lot of yard, patio and trees in between. That is why the parking in front of the house has other cars but you have an assigned parking space just for you!This is listed in the description clearly. The guest showed up with 3 cars unannounced and I quickly accommodated-no charge. But this is not always possible, which is why it’s listed as one car. Additional free parking is down the street at park too. The new welcome Guide is updated now with easy instructions for all check in matters as is emailed to you a week in advance. I respond immediately for any questions also. Kitchen is fully stocked , the glasses were all in dishwasher clean by mistake. Location is amazing! You have access to downtown, highways, airport, restaurants and 10 min drive to beach- you are literally in the heart of the city! I have hundreds of reviews on Airbnb listed as well. I am new to VRBO so not as many.
