Great place. Clean and well decorated. If you prepare your own meals/like to cook, best stocked kitchen I've been to. Pool area is even nicer than pics show. Highly recommend.

Everything about the stay was perfection! The host Mike was great. His communication was clear detailed and quick. The house was in an excellent location in quiet and safe neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. The inside of the house was clean and had every single amenity needed and more! There were beach chairs, and umbrella and even a small cooler to bring some cold drinks to the beach. The pool and lounge area was clean and very well maintained and soooooo relaxing. The beach and pier area is a short safe walk with good food, drinks and shopping options. The WiFi works great. Beds and pillows were comfy. Also liked that it was about 20 min drive from the airport. We will absolutely be back.

Awesomeness

Loved the privacy, the location to the beach and quite a few amazing restaurants all with him walking distance. The access to the private pool the comfy cozy beach house feeling inside the house. The host was more than accommodating and responsive he went above and beyond. We will be back!

Still amazing

We were here last year for four weeks and came back this year for 6. The property is so close to absolutely everything. Restaurants. Bars. Beach. Grocery. Kids playground. Splash pad. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and if you have any questions about anything Mike will answer within minutes.Sad we aren’t back next year but part of the time we wanted was already taken. You will not be disappointed!

Tropical getaway

Stayed here before, best vrbo we’ve stayed in and we vrbo often. Everything we needed great location short walk to the beach, or relax at the pool. No negatives at all!

Beautiful Beach House!

We stayed at the house for one week in December ‘24/January ‘25 with a group of 2 adults and 4 kids (13, 13, 17, 17). The house is comfortable and very clean. We appreciated that there were paper goods, laundry detergent, air freshener and other household goods to help make everyone feel at home. The neighborhood is welcoming and neighbors are friendly. I went on a beautiful walk to start each day and it was very safe. If you visit during Christmas, the block is fully decorated with one house going all out! We all loved it and people from all over come to see it. The pool area is beautiful and made for a great way to end the day or for the kids to enjoy at night. We spent most of our days at the beach and we loved the convenience of getting there. Mike provided beach chairs and towels. Parking at the beach wasn’t difficult and we visited during high season. Plenty of food options and water sports available as well.We would return to Tropical Getaway again! Everyone in our group felt at home and Mike was responsive and accommodating.

Great vacation home close to everything

Great house large, clean great lanai with heated pool.. near pier and restaurants. Tried the Pompano Water Way taxi to Fort Lauderdale.. Responsive owners !!

A Week in Paradise!

The house is amazing and in an awesome location! So many restaurants, shops and beach access... all in walking distance! Have been to this property multiple times and plan on going back again next year! Mike was a great host!!

GREAT

Can’t say enough about this VRBO and the amazing property manager, Mike! The location to most anything is perfect. 20 minute walk to the beach, splash pad, kids playground, beach bars and restaurants. Publix is just a quick drive or walk. The house has everything you’d need from kids sand toys, floaties, a wagon to haul it all to the beach. There are more beach towels than you’ll ever need. The kitchen is set up with everything you need for cooking and barbecue is a big plus for us. We loved this place so much we’ve booked it again for next year!

We have stayed at 8 VRBO properties in the last 3 years. We found the property fully exceeded our expectations. Perfect location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, groceries, fully stocked with our needs. Great grill used it several times. Pool felt private with fence. Have nothing contrary to post. Lots of TVs… nice neighborhood!

Couldn't Have Asked for better

Our stay at Tropical Getaway was everything we had hoped it would be. I cannot say enough about Mike and the manner in which he communicates and responds. If I could have rated his attentiveness above 5 stars, I would have. Mike was always responsive to the little things that come up when planning a trip, but he went above and beyond when we ran into car troubles during our stay. He was invariably helpful, responsive and easy to work with. The facility itself was very comfortable for our family of 5, and the 'little things' really make a difference. The supply of spices, cooking needs, laundry detergent, beach supplies, etc... really helped keep us from needing to scramble for the daily needs of traveling with kids. The decor was very cute, the pool and backyard is quite well maintained, and the quiet neighborhood made for a very peaceful stay. I would highlight that the fold-out bed in the third bedroom is a small and mediocre pull-out in a small room. It was perfectly fine for our 14yo son (which is what we anticipated), but I would not be apt to plan on using that space for adults or multiple individuals. All in all, we left wishing we had the time and resources to return to the house each year! I would wholeheartedly recommend this property for a beach stay in SE FL.

Lovely Neighborhood

We were really pleased with the rental property and would recommend this one to friends. You will need a car to get to all of the attractions. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the grounds well manicured. The inside was inviting and stocked with multiple amenities. My only suggestion would be to organize the kitchen better, all of the glasses, dishes, pots and bowls were mixed throughout the cabinets.

Nice property in convenient location

The property was as described, clean and the kitchen well stocked with cooking essentials. It’s a really quick and easy drive to the beach and also convenient to restaurants, grocery stores and a pharmacy. The outdoor area is nice but unfortunately the pool heater was broken during our stay and wasn’t able to be fixed in time for us to enjoy. Mike was very quick to respond to all communication throughout our stay.

Pompano Paradise

We had a GREAT time at this location. The house was perfect. The pool was perfect. The nearby beach was perfect. The VRBO owner was very easy to communicate with and was a pleasure to deal with. We are a return customer and plan to be one again.

Wonderful and everything you could need

Everything was great. House comes with everything you need for cooking, lounging by the pool or hanging out at the beach with young kids. The drive to the beach is very short and parking is easy. The property is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and close to pretty much everything, including restaurants and a grocery store. Mike was great to deal with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend to families traveling with kids.

we returned to the same property our second time. we loved it so much tat we had to come back. Great location, private pool and easy communication with the property manager. Mike, the property manager was making sure we have everything we need to enjoy the stay. He was reachable 24/7. Definitely recommending to all our friends. House had a great location only 12 minutes walking distance to the beach. And provate pool is a plus to enjoy in the afternoon.

Battery Recharge

This tropical getaway was a perfect spot for my family and I to recharge our batteries after a long winter in the northeast. The proximity to the beaches, restaurants, tourist spots and the airport is ideal. We can't wait to go back and enjoy this house. Mike was very quick with any questions we had and made our vacaion incredibly easy
