Perfect place for relaxation
We went to relax and be stress free from work. This was the before place. So peaceful. quite, and very relaxing. The garden was so beautiful and breathtaking, the beach was a short walk away and very quite. Very confortable. The owner Steve was very kind, and Wendy was very helpful, directed us to good places to visit and to eat. Everything was neat and clean, nothing out of place.

Excelente hotel para amantes de la naturaleza
The Desoto Inn es un hotel muy pintoresco e interesante por su entorno natural, sus jardines y su cuidado del medio ambiente. A pasos del mar! El dueño, Steve fue super amable y nos dio una introduccion detallada, incluyendo recomendaciones de donde ir a comer en las cercanias. Muy recomendable! Thank you Steve!

We stayed in the exclusive apartment. The rooms were clean and the covered balcony was a bonus. Located steps from the beach. Great restaurants located nearby, within walking distance (Tiki Tiki and Quarter Deck). Front office was closed for most of our stay therefore we could not have access to the bicycles.

Everything was great during our stay - location, room, staff, etc. Garden with gazebos and grill were additional bonuses that made our dinners with friends unforgettable.

We loved this little gem which we found by chance. It's proximity to the beach is priceless. The accommodation is immaculately clean, comfortable and perfectly equipped offering a whole range of trimmings like beach towels, sunshade, umbrella and access to a coffee machine. It was luxury after 2 weeks on the road to have proper cutlery, plates and glasses plus oven, microwave, fridge and toaster. Parking outside the property is available free of charge. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience!

We loved our stay at the Desoto inn. We felt like we were the only ones there for most of our stay but the staff was so incredibly kind, communicative, provided everything you could think to need. The location is great next to beach and bike path to Broadwalk is a nice walk! Not a lot of restaurants or shops super close by but everything is a close drive. Lots of privacy, clean, and comfortable space! We would definitely return!

Perfect place to stay for ocean lovers. Close walk...everything provided (beach chairs, coolers, towels, etc). The only disappointing thing was no bikes and had to take cold showers (not sure why?)

Absolutely beautiful property both inside and out. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Lots of beautiful places outside each room to relax - with gorgeous native landscaping! I especially appreciated the services offered....from beach chairs to a lending library to 50 SPF sunscreen to use during my stay! Steph went out of their way to make my visit enjoyable than effortless. Highly recommend. Will be going back as often as I can!

Our stay at the DeSoto Inn was wonderful! This is such a hidden gem in the Hollywood Beach area. You are about a 30 minute walk from Hollywood beach itself but they have bikes that you can use down a bike path that goes straight there. The room was super clean and the hotel had so many amenities! My favorite thing about this place is the beautiful gardens outside where you can see blooms and butterflies all day. You are also a 1 minute walk from the beach and they have everything from chairs, pool floats, and surfboards that you can use while there. Parking was assigned and free (the spot was very tight) and we had no trouble with that during our stay. I highly recommend this place and will be returning in the future.

This place was beautiful! It was so close to the ocean, close to a couple restaurants. It is just a nice little area. Communication was easy and kept us informed. There was an outdoor coffee station as well as a coffee pot in the room. The rooms were clean, had everything you needed. We are already trying to plan a time to come back1

Beautiful, quiet, secluded place. Like a 1950’s throwback in the best way. Seconds from the beach. I’d definitely stay there again.

This was the first time visiting the Fort Lauderdale area and it didnt disappoint. The Desoto Inn was incredible, quiet, quaint and beautiful landscaping. We were literally 200 steps from the beach. The hotel manager communicated instructions for self check in/out! Also communicated in a timely manner. We will definitely be making our next reservation there very soon!!

The studio was amazing, from the decor to the amenities. Right by the beach. Nice location, on a side street. The property is all done with gardens and huts. Very quaint and quite for a nice relaxing time with your partner. Walked and sat at the beach.

This Inn is a true gem….a home away from home along the Florida coast. The setting was wonderful with a lovely garden that included shaded tables and comfy chairs to just relax. A short walk to the beach with complimentary chairs, umbrellas, and bikes. The room included a full kitchen, king bed, and a small, but nice bathroom.

I liked the peaceful surroundings and the 15 second walk to the basically private beach. I liked that the property had bikes available to ride on the tranquil path to Hollywood beach restaurants. I enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit.
