Before booking I contacted Brandon & Gary and specifically asked if the pool was heated , they replied in writing that " Hey yes it is " So I took them at their word and booked, BIG MISTAKE. The pool was dirty , freezing cold and unusable. The only reason I booked was their assurance that is was heated, being able to swim was our top priority. Messaged them and the only response was "heated pool was not advertised in the listing ". I contacted VRBO they called and emailed host, the reply back was "the host is refusing to help at all". These guys are deliberately deceiving guests and scamming the system. They never took responsibility or accountability for their actions, refused to mitigate the blatant misrepresentation of the property and constantly shifted blame to guests. ( I have the entire transcript ) BUYER BEWARE - we found out through our credit card that hosts can promise you anything verbally or in writing but it is not enforceable if it's not contained within the listing/contract, and these guys know it ! VRBO did offer a token credit for the deceitful tactics, however it doesn't make up for the fact that we were deceived and paid a lot of money for a sub par vacation & amenity that was non useable .
