Very good experience with this host Easy to contact and access the property The home was clean and well organized. We didn’t lack for anything. It was so easy to pick up a few things from Publix supermarket just down the street. We also found it to be very centrally located for the 3 beaches we wanted to visit (Deerfield Beach-Lauderdale by the Sea- Pompano Beach and we even squeezed in a day at Fort Lauderdale Beach. We really wanted a lanai and a heated pool so this was a perfect property for us. We wanted a quiet neighborhood where we could just relax and have some downtime and this was just the ticket. We enjoyed our week in the Florida sun.

This is a really, really great house and this was our second time staying there. The house itself is very comfortable and very up-to-date. The kitchen is completely stocked, beds are comfortable, plenty of closet space, good wifi, multiple big screen TVs. The best part is the screened in pool area in back. Very private and really nice -- like being at a private resort. The location is also really good -- it is a short drive to everything: beaches, restaurants, downtown Fort Lauderdale, etc. Igor is an excellent host -- he really cares about his property and his guests and wants to ensure that everything is clean and works properly. We would happily stay there again!

The property had all the amenities we needed to have a wonderful stay! The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the pool area was very nice. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 is because of the lack of communication on how to access the home before our arrival. We have always received this information atleast 24 hours in advance so we were a little nervous when it was close to check in time and we hadn't received the information. I'm happy to say it all worked out and we were in the house by the guaranteed time of 4 pm. Igor was very nice and helpful when we spoke.

Having rented from the host previously, I was so disappointed this time. The photos on VRBO are a staged depiction of the property as a whole. The property is littered with bikes, lawnmower, gas can, propane tanks and other assorted items that are strewn everywhere around the house. The front patio is littered with beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes which have flat tires, coolers and anything else that the host can’t put in the garage because he uses the garage as a storage area for all his other properties. The lawn and surrounding shrubbery was not maintained and was an eyesore upon arrival. We were there for about an hour, went to dinner and came home to an ant infestation like we’ve never experienced. The host did respond immediately to the house, sprayed for the infestation, and explained that “this is South Florida” when I voiced my displeasure. I’m not as level headed as most people, so I opted to remove myself from further conversation with him to avoid conflict, as he offered one excuse after another to my line of questioning. On a scale of 1 to 10 regarding cleanliness, I would be hard pressed to give it a rating above a 5. The floors were dirty, the rugs adjacent to the doors, as well as the bathroom rugs were filthy. The linens on the beds were fine, as was the pool, but when you’re paying for the pictures you see, you expect a lot better. Buyer beware here.

We really enjoyed our visit! The house was very clean and well maintained. It was so fun to have the pool right there, it also was very nice and clean. Close to grocery, liquor and good food.

Truly a home away from home.

Everything we love about South Florida all in one package.The pool was definitely the highlight of the stay. Plenty of options for privacy when outside. Very quiet neighborhood with restaurant and shopping nearby including 5 min drive to Publix and Walmart.In a nutshell, we cannot wait to stay again. 10/10

pool Handguard

I had concerns that there were no handggars on the steps going down into the pool. Nothing to hang on to. Seems like a safety problem. Out group where all over 70 and had difficulty getting in and out of the pool. Other that the pool was very nice
