    Harbordale is a vibrant coastal enclave in Fort Lauderdale sitting just north of Port Everglades and the Broward County Convention Center. The neighborhood features a diverse mix of housing—from mid-century single-family bungalows and waterfront estates to modern condos and townhomes—many built in the 1950s and later. Its prime location makes it a hub for boating enthusiasts and marine professionals, as cruise ships and barges frequently pass through the nearby Port Everglades terminals.

    Residents enjoy easy access to the Atlantic shore, Las Olas Boulevard’s shops and restaurants, and green spaces like nearby George English Park and Birch State Park, which offer boating, fishing, and nature trails. The community maintains a friendly, small-town feel, bolstered by an active civic association that organizes local events and volunteer opportunities. Families are served by Harbordale Elementary School and other Broward County public schools, making the area appealing to a wide range of residents seeking both convenience and a laid-back Florida lifestyle.

    This property is easily one of the most convenient and walkable locations in Fort Lauderdale! Just a short drive away from major hot spots like Fort Lauderdale Beach, Las Olas, Port Everglades, Convention Center, and FLL Airport.

    In terms of walking distance, there`s Harbordale Park with a playground and an open field literally right across the street. There`s also restaurants like Outback Steakhouse one block away. Publix grocery store is a short 5 minute walk, Embassy Suites Hilton also. If you are looking for anything fast and convenient, there is a Taco Bell right down the street and a brand new 7-Eleven that just opened. 17th St is the main Road where you will find lots of shopping and restaurants. If you need any recommendations just let us know we`re locals!

    Please exercise caution when using the sauna and cold plunge. These amenities should be used responsibly and at your own risk. They are not recommended for children.

    Also, we`re still putting the final touches on the space — a few decorative items like wallpaper and small furniture pieces are still on the way. You may notice some slight differences from the listing photos, but rest assured all essentials are fully stocked and everything shown is available for your use.

    General House Rules Information
    Check-in time is 4pm / Check-out time is 11am.
    Sometimes the platform will allow you to select the time in which you would like to arrive and or exit.
    Please know that check in is always at 4PM and checkout at 11AM unless explicitly discussed and approved with us.
    Fort Lauderdale city ordinance quiet hours 10pm-8am.
    No smoking inside the house ($1000 fine)


    **House Rules Intro**
    We have created our house rules sheet to preserve the integrity of your stay and future stays while also respecting the home and neighborhood! Following these rules will greatly help us as Vacation Rental hosts by making sure the home is taken care of during your stay. We understand that people are not a “one size fits all” category, so please reach out to us with any questions or concerns in this document. COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!!!

    Mi casa, tu casa! But you wouldn’t intentionally damage or mess up your home, would you? We ask that you treat our property as if it was your very own as well! Please be aware of the condition of items in the house, and if you happen to notice anything broken when you arrive, please contact us to let us know.
    We also ask that you please watch noise levels at night. We love our neighbors! They’re nice, we’re nice to them, and we hope you are nice to them too! Noise ordinances for quiet time in the city/neighborhood are at 10pm, so please respect these rules.

    Should payments be made with a credit card, a 6% processing fee applies to all payments and is non-refundable. Please notify the host should you wish to make a payment this way and they may be able to accommodate you.

    For this option the following items are required:

    A picture of your driver’s license.
    A picture of the front and back of the credit card used.
    A picture of you holding your license up to your face in a selfie form.
    A credit card authorization form.

    (Please note that all of the above required items names must match the credit cards, licenses, and name on the reservation.)
    Should any cancellations or refunds be given, they will be provided less the 6% processing fee.

    You hereby certify that you are at least 18 years of age and you are legally competent to enter into this Agreement, including the Release, Waiver, Assumption and Indemnity provisions contained herein. You agree that it is your express intent that this release shall bind the members of your family and spouse, if you are alive, and your heirs, assigns and personal representatives, if you are deceased, and shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

    A/C Central System
    Please do not have the AC thermostat below 60 degrees as this can freeze the ac unit causing damages that we will then pass along to you.

    BBQ Grill
    Any guests who plan to use our BBQ grill are welcome to do so, but please only use it if you are familiar with propane gas grills. Before & after each use, please turn on & off the propane tank and/or the knob that shuts the gas off and on. Different properties have different types. Please let us know if you have questions about the grill pertaining to your unit. Please turn on the vent fan while the grill is in use. In order to minimize a messy clean up, we ask that guests use foil and clean up the grill after use by using the grill cleaner formula provided and pouring out the drip pan. We don’t want to have grease as a fire hazard. Fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen, under the sink. The grill is clean and we’d like everyone to experience it that way! Any excess cleaning will result in additional cleaning fees. Homes in Fort Lauderdale will have copper sheets that are required for use and must be cleaned and not thrown away!
    We cannot stress this enough! Our cleaners will charge us for additional cleaning, and we will in turn charge you.

    Booking
    When you book, you are agreeing to pay all charges for your booking including the Listing price, applicable fees like, taxes, and any other items identified during checkout (collectively, “Total Price”). You are also agreeing that C’est La Vie Home Away by Jordan Mikes LLC via Cosmic Property Management or their partners may charge the Payment Method used to book the Listing in order to collect Damage Claim amounts. When you receive the booking confirmation/invoice, a contract for Host Services (a `Reservation`) is formed directly between you and the Host. In addition to these Terms, you will be subject to, and responsible for complying with, all terms of the Reservation, including without limitation, the cancellation policy and any other rules, standards, policies, or requirements identified in the Listing or during checkout that apply to the Reservation. It is your responsibility to read and understand these rules, standards, policies, and requirements prior to booking a Listing. Be aware that some Hosts work with a co-host or as part of a team to provide their Host Services.

    Broken items
    If for any reason you break an item during your stay, please let us know immediately. We understand that accidents happen, but in order for us to fix or replace something for a future guest to enjoy, we will need to know that it is broken. We really appreciate your honesty. We take inventory of every single item in the home when it is being cleaned, including linens, appliances, towels, and decorations. If anything is missing - this will result in a fee equal to the item’s 150% replacement value.

    Check-in time is from 4:00pm -12:00am. If you have a late/delayed flight, please let us know as soon as possible and we will be happy to work with you.
