Perfect week away from reality

The house, its location & amenities were exact what we needed after a long winter up north. The house is centrally located to beaches, restaurants & the water taxi. Dr. K is such a gracious host & responsive to requests.A great time had by all!

Clean, tidy and well appointed

Many thanks to Dr. K for her hospitality! This lovely space had everything we could have asked for and then some. Dr. K also graciously recommended superb dining experiences that made our stay that even more memorable. Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail was much appreciated. Five stars.

Great Location

We stayed for four nights--family of four. This place was perfect for us -- 2 bedrooms with 3 beds. The location is very close to the beach with easy access. It is also very close to Hugh Taylor Birch park, which is terrific place to spend time in, especially at The Grove. There are several other restaurants close by. And you're a very short drive from Lauderdale-By-The Sea as well as Los Alos BLVD. Overall, a great place for our family.

Atlantic Dreaming

The property was bright and clean, the number of bathrooms was a definite, plus and the proximity to the beach and the host thoughtfulness of beach necessities. I would definitely recommend this property to friends. The whole communication was top notch and we hope to stay there again soon.

Clean and walkable

We enjoyed the modern and clean house, and walked easily to many restaurants and the nearby beach and spa. We also enjoyed the outdoor space. Great recommendations from the host for food options and things to do. Good choice for a quick family getaway.

Important to get in writing host's visitor policy re ages and dates of stay. Also, host requires photo of each visiting car license plates. Cameras on property.

Family get away

A short get away to relax, plenty to do in the area (restaurants, bars, site seeing) BUT in general we took time off to relax on the beach, jog, walk and see the Houston Astros Spring Training. The facility was very clean, we bought groceries and stayed in - relaxing area - with Lawn/beach chairs outside, sitting and BBQ area. No matter your choice - the place was perfect to relax or go out, the options are available. See you next year!

Girls’ Get-A-Away

We had a wonderful stay. The unit is modern, clean and has all amenities. The misleading part is that the VRBO listing shows part of a building with a porch right on the beach. That was not the case. But it was only a block from the beach in a lovely area and just a short drive to more restaurants. We weren’t interested in night life. I would definitely recommend this property.

Pleasantly surprised

Place was actually better than the photos. Quite clean. Was really convenient to have 3 full bathrooms for our family. Lot of great beach stuff for us to use, with the beach conveniently within walking distance. Nice sitting/lounging areas outside (there was even a wild iguana roaming outside which was a funny surprise, added to the tropical vibe). Convenient outside shower for any remaining sand on us from our beach trips. TVs in every room. Dishwasher and laundry machines were small which made sense considering the size and purpose of the rental. But the microwave could be bigger, couldn't fit a dinner plate. Overall a really great stay though, very happy with our accommodation, especially our kind and gracious host Dr.K, who regularly checked in with us over the phone despite being sick. Thank you!

Location and comfort

We were in town for a business and pleasure trip to the boat show. The location was perfect. A block from North Beach and less than a mile to the nearest water taxi. In addition, there is a rack for the local app operated bicycle rental and we really rented bikes to take to the show. It's also walking distance to several restaurants and a 7-11, and about a mile from the Dunkins and grocery store. The home was very clean and quiet with almost no traffic on the side street. Also the Host is very informative.

Beach/Vacation Utopia

Very clean, extremely close to the beach (2-3m walk), very comfortable place to just relax. Very quiet area. Bars and restaurants are close....many close enough to walk. Kitchen is great with everything needed for morning coffee, cooking breakfast, hanging out and having a snack after a day at the beach, or a full meal. If you enjoy time at the beach, this is as good as it gets. Thanks for everything!

Spring getaway

Home was clean with a well stock kitchen even though we did not cook. Home eas just the right size for 2. I think 4 would be a bit tight for searing space even though home has 3 baths. A few nice restaurants in walking distance. Downtown was a short drive or uber. The beach chairs and beach towels were a nice touch. All in all a nice home.

Great location with very easy beach access

This is a great unit and we got exactly what we were expecting. A super close walk to the beach. The beach is on the other side of a somewhat busy road, but there is a crosswalk and it is not hard to get there. The unit is well-stocked and easy to stay in. There were even boogie boards for my kids, which was great. It is important to pay attention to the house rules before you book the unit. The owner has some specific rules about insurance that are not enforced by the VRBO website, which caused a bit of hassle with my booking. But ultimately it all worked out fine.
