First off, this cabin is in a beautiful spot - pretty much right on the beach, with gorgeous sunsets and great swimming (which was perfect for us since it was so hot during our week there).
As mentioned, the cabin is pretty basic. This was fine for us but it was missing some things that you'd expect to be there. Luckily we had read a previous review that advised bringing blankets as there was only one fitted sheet and two top-sheets and a crocheted throw. When the temp dropped the last night we would have been quite cold if we hadn't brought our own blankets. We also had our own tea towels and toilet paper which was good since there was only half a roll in the outhouse! There are also only two quite flat pillows in the cabin so I regretted not bringing ours.
The biggest issue I found, though, is the hill that's mentioned briefly in the listing. This isn't a hill. It's a very steep gravel roadbed that hasn't been completed as a road. The gravel is slippery and the climb down is treacherous. To haul all the stuff required for a week down that thing is a feat for anyone but I think especially of people who have bigger issues with mobility, like my mother, but who often push their limits. I could just see my mom thinking that this place would be okay for her and then arriving to face that climb down which she simply wouldn't be able to do. And what happens in that case? In my opinion, more needs to be said about the realistic accessibility of this cabin.
It is a suitable place in a gorgeous setting but it certainly isn't for everyone.
