Great stay in Fort Collins!
My family of 4 had a great stay while visiting for Thanksgiving. Mark is a WONDERFUL host. Communication was great and we were greeted with cookies and a clean, warm home with the lights on! This fun, unique, house had everything we needed - plenty of room for our family, a fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, comfortable beds, extra toiletries, and plenty of room to store our food and clothing. It snowed the day we were leaving and Mark shoveled all the walkways for us! Looking forward to staying here again next time we’re in Fort Collins.

The Sanctuary
This stunning home surpassed all expectations. From the numerous living spaces to the beautiful courtyard, we had more than enough room to spread out and relax when we weren’t out enjoying everything Fort Collins has to offer. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was in perfect condition. Coffee was provided for the Keurig machine which was appreciated by all. Each bathroom was exceptionally clean had a nice assortment of toiletries. Mark and Denise take great pride in their property and were great hosts!

50th Roommate Reunion
We had a great stay, the provisions were great. The only short comings were: 1) We couldn't locate any cushions for the patio chairs. 2) The downstairs bed was way too soft, one person had to sleep on the couch because she couldn't tolerate it but that worked just fine for her. Knives weren't real sharp, but that's minor. It was a beautiful home.

Exceptional property
We loved staying here. Location was perfect, house was spotlessly clean, all the beds were extremely comfortable, the steam shower felt great after our busy days, lots of amenities, and the hosts were great. We would stay again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Comfortable Property With Great Amenities
This is a lovely property on a tree-lined street. The bedroom and living areas were comfortable and allowed for privacy. Walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. I highly recommend the property.

Beautiful property in great location
We loved everything about the property. Very comfortable beds, full kitchen and dining area. Walkable to a great coffee shop, Lima, and to all Old Town restaurants, shops and breweries. Communication with host could not have been better. Thank you so much Mark!

Wonderful property and location!!
We had planned to stay with our 2 kids, but our plans changed so we ended up just the 2 of us in this wonderful house. However, there would have been more than enough room for all of us. The house is gorgeous with a rich history, and Mark and Denise have provided every possible amenity. We especially appreciated the tempurpedic mattress in the master bedroom (my wife has connective tissue issues and a comfortable bed is a must) and the provided blender (which we find is often lacking in short term rental properties). The home was immaculate on our arrival, complete with a plate of fresh baked cookies! Mark and Denise were very responsive with all our questions. Of course, the proximity to Old Town cannot be beat. The next time we come back to Fort Collins (and we come at least once per year to visit family) we will definitely want to stay here!

Lovely home in a great location
This was our second time -- we love staying here. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive. The home is lovely, comfortable, and in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed being able to walk to Old Town, as well as natural areas and parks. Highly recommend!

Incredible stay
I can not say enough about how wonderful our stay was this weekend. The home has so many personal touches including homemade cookies upon our arrival. It is a perfect location close to campus and old town and absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. If my daughter wasn't graduating, we would stay here every time we come to Fort Collins.

Excellent house
We especially liked that each bedroom had its own bathroom and plenty of privacy. This house is amazingly well stocked and the location is excellent, very close to everything in Old Town. It’s also extra clean and full of beautiful light from the big windows.

Met family from Denver and Wyoming at the halfway point. The house was beyond comfortable and well appointed. Shopping nearby. The location is ideal for walks and enjoying old town Fort Collins. The owners are easily reached if needed.

A True Sanctuary
Just blocks from tons of restaurants and bars, this property is a great place for families to gather for a long weekend, or (as we have done 3 times) for a month-long retreat. The owners (Mark and Denise) are fabulous hosts, and the home has a great energy. My wife and I stayed there, but had company visit all month long and everyone enjoyed their stay. Would highly recommend The Sanctuary.

Nice Family Get Away
This was a very nice house in a quiet neighborhood. It was walking distance to the shops and restaurants on College. There was plenty of room inside and it had a nice patio. We would stay here again.

Very Best Rental!
I've rented from VRBO a number of times in several states within the past 10 years, and this home tops the list! I wish I could give it 10 stars! Our stay could not have been better -- booking the home, seamless arrival specifics, extremely prompt responses from the owner, and just all the attention to details. The owners are so very kind. We arrived to freshly baked cookies and a pristine home! The location is absolutely wonderful -- so close to the wonderful, charming downtown area of Ft. Collins, parks, restaurants, etc. Everything we needed was just minutes away. It was also less than 45 min. from Wyoming, where we spent a day feeding bison at a ranch and exploring Cheyenne a bit. This home was just perfect to spend the week with our 2 children and their young families. There are so many things to enjoy in this part of north Colorado, but our favorite time together was enjoying dinner in this lovely home each evening! We already know we cannot wait to return to Ft. Collins and hopefully stay in this home once again.

We enjoyed our stay in this amazing, comfortable, historic home! Mark and Denise were superb hosts! Some of the features we especially enjoyed (not in any particular order): historical home; games and a movie theater room; beautiful stained glass in the master bedroom; comfortable beds; well-equipped kitchen; modern appliances; easy abundant parking; walking distance to Old Town, parks and natural areas; quiet location; piano and guitar; homemade chocolate chip cookies upon our arrival; and lovely decor. We highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

400 Whedbee is an amazingly gorgeous property. Plenty of room to have family over. Easy check in. High attention to detail. Appreciated the toiletries in each bathroom. Lots of coffee and tea choices. Great location. Beautiful patio. Mark is very responsive. Will definitely stay here again!!

Everyone was impressed!
We rented this property for our son’s graduation and it impressed everyone. It was the perfect place for us- great location close to CSU, restaurants, groceries and shops with comfortable areas for people to congregate. From the fresh baked cookies to the comfy beds everything was perfect. Loved our stay here and highly recommend it!

Not only is this property amazing, the location is close to Old Town, campus, bike trails, brewpubs, restaurants and grocery stores. We have stayed here twice and loved it both times. Since our last stay at this property, the owners had the piano tuned, which was a great surprise. They are also incredibly helpful and responsive. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect in every way. We had a great stay. I highly recommend it.

Best equiped VRBO I have ever stayed in!
We stayed at this house over Christmas. We have several family members living in Fort Collins area. This was the gathering place. House was great!. Kitchen had every cooking supply and gadget we have at our house. Den area was VERY nicely decorated for Christmas, plus outside lights. Played Christmas carols on the grand piano. Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, a toothbrush is you forgot, makeup remover... Hosts pay attention to the details. I highly recommend this property.

Great place for a gathering
This was a wonderful "home away from home." Lots of space, tons of character, comfortable and clean. We had a family gathering for Thanksgiving and the kitchen was well equipped. It had everything we needed. The owners were super communicative and the hospitality was wonderful. A short walk to Old Town Fort Collins, and parking was easy. Will definitely book this place again when we need a place to stay in Fort Collins!

Thoughtfully appointed wonderful space
We would stay here every time in future visits to Ft Collins. The hosts have anticipated every need and the house is arranged so you have three separate living spaces and cozy communal areas both inside and outside. In addition to three nice sized rooms with en-suite bathrooms, there is a movie screening room, a living room with a lovely Steinway, fireplace and decent library as well as a small game room with TV upstairs. We had guests for two days and we were both working remotely and the house was able to allow us to both work and visit and not disturb other people. The best thing is, the house is filled with natural light from every corner in the day and has really excellent area lighting after dark—it’s a beautiful building architecturally and we had the pleasure of meeting Mark, who is a warm host and maintains a nice garden around the house. It has a fully equipped kitchen supplies with your staples and a big selection of hot drinks for the Kuerig but it is tight for more than one person cooking— it’s ok because you are minutes away by foot to many fine restaurants. We stay in a lot of properties because we travel a lot internationally and domestically and this was one of the nicest places we have been fortunate to stay in. Thank you Mark and Denise for making our stay so pleasant!

We travel a lot for work and I have rented more VRBO homes than I can count. This house was very nice, had wonderful beds and the hosts stocked it with everything you could need! All the toiletries, plenty of K Cups for the Keurig and more! Perfect rental!

Outstanding Property with a lot of Love
This was by far the best VRBO experience and stay to date. First off, the property is GORGEOUS and filled with interesting, talk-provoking art pieces and beautiful details. Our group was beyond impressed just walking and loved the entire space. The open main floor made it easy for our group to move about, cook as necessary and the downstairs "movie room" was the highlight of the trip. Also very cool to see - the wine cellar! The location is divine, as it's walkable to Old Town, College Ave, Mason Ave and killer parts of town for shopping, eating and drinking. Mark was insanely easy to get in touch with, offered us alternate routes to avoid traffic in getting to the property, turned down the AC to make us comfortable upon arrival and we were greeted with freshly baked cookies! I'd HIGHLY recommend this stunning place to family, friends and anyone wishing for an awesome stay in Fort Collins!

A True Sanctuary!
This is an excellent house! It is beautifully renovated with a mixture of modern conveniences/appliances and also lovely antiques. The kitchen is very well stocked. The hosts have thought of every detail for an enjoyable stay including hair dryers and toiletries kits for use in each bathroom to fresh baked cookies to greet you when you arrive. This one of a kind home is in a great location; walking distance to old Fort Collins with its many restaurants and shops and also a few blocks to a full service grocery store. The hosts were excellent to work with and we would definitely rent this comfortable and charming home again.

Wonderful!
This was one of our top rentals in over 12 years of travels. The location was really close to Old Town, definitely within walking distance. The house itself is beautifully appointed, comfortable, and loaded with amenities. The three bedroom suites are on separate floors, making it ideal for 3 friends or 3 couples. We enjoyed the outdoor space for morning coffee, the loft area for playing cards, and the movie room for relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend this property!
