It was my first time to Fort Collins as I have a son about to attend CSU. We came in town for orientation. This location is perfect. It's parallel to the main drag but one block over so on a completely residential neighborhood street. We walked to numerous points on campus and my son could walk back and forth to whatever he needed to get to. We also walked to Old Town quite a few times. We could have driven but then you have the parking issue and the walk was quite nice. I'm not sure exactly how far it is but less than a mile. The house was clean and comfortable with a giant TV, nice larger couch, and throw blankets. Although we did not cook, there were plenty of dishes, pots, pans, glasses, etc. There is a front porch and a back porch, both perfect for relaxing on. There are 2 bedrooms - the bedding was great with lots of pillows! The owner gave us some coffee and restaurant suggestions which we took advantage of. Fun town - great location and I'm ready to stay here again. The only negative - the hardwood floors are squeaky.
