Thanks for your feedback. It is unusual for the cleaning people to leave the door open at all. I will mention that to them--we don't get that many days over 90 or close to 100 here but certainly not helpful to have the door open during that weather. As far as the television and sound bar, most folks find it very easy to use. There are instructions are in the binder in the unit. I believe there is even a picture of the remote in the instructions. The volume control is on the side of the remote. The sound bar is only an added feature if someone chooses to use it. We do have side tables on both sides of the master bed but chose not to put them in the way of access to the bunk bed. Most of our guests give us 5 stars so this is an unusual rating.

I have great news about most of these comments! The exterior landscaping is being completely redone by a professional landscaper. The big beautiful old trees have been trimmed and the old bushes have been removed. Now the new plants, rocks--etc. are being delivered. The HOA is in process of picking new exterior paint colors and though we will probably hit winter before we can begin that process, plans are in place! We are also looking at a refresh paint for the common areas inside the building and have already done some touch ups. I would definitely disagree that the pool is something out of a horror movie. It is clean and warm and plenty of people use it--including my children if we ever stay downtown. What looks unsightly is peeling paint around the ceiling. This is due to some issues with humidity and folks shutting off the fan. Great news there--in process of getting bids for a new fan that is quieter and inaccesible to people who might want to shut it off. Once the humidity issue is permanently under control we can begin repairing the peeling paint. I believe the exercise room and pool table room have already been given some significant upgrades. Best of all! I just got a call yesterday from the HOA president that an HVAC contractor had been hired to investigate the ventilation in the building as a whole and he found some air intakes that had been capped off in the past for some reason. Those are being restored to working condition and the airflow in the building is going to be WAY better. Once that work is done we should have no more issues with smells in the hallways--though it doesn't impact the unit anyway. Yes this is a walk-up building and a unit on the third floor. It comes with an assigned covered parking spot which is nice in weather. In the directions I do state that you can unload on the side closer to unit and then move the car. I'm sure having a baby in tow does make everything exhausting. It's city living for sure at that unit. I was in the unit in the middle of a heat spell and it was almost chilly with all of the air conditioners on so I don't agree about their inadequacy either--especially since I've heard from other guests that is stayed cool in very warm weather. I will add it to my cleaning person's list to check the filter periodically. The only downside to all of these improvements is that rates will go up as the building is modernized. Enjoy the low rates compared to other rentals in the area while you can!

Thanks for your review. There must have been an issue with the hot water because there should be plenty of hot water all day. Marijuana use is legal in Colorado and some residents in this building do consume it in their private residence. The great news is that our HOA is working on upgrading the venilation in the building. I believe this is really going to help keep smells of all kinds inside of people's units. There are air conditioners in each bedroom and the living room, plus a ceiling fan and additional free standing fans. I have not had complaints about that in the past.
