Loved the entire experience! Beds are comfortable. Shower water pressure, great. Entire home and grounds are very clean. Enjoyed the backyard immensely, at night, by the fire and stars. Was just as enjoyable and relaxing by day. Watching the deer eating apples was a delight! Property is conveniently located to shopping, dining, and numerous activities. You can buy anything you need when you arrive, if you don't want to carry a bunch of stuff from home. The hosts are extremely accessible, nice and respect your privacy. Absolutely, recommend this adorable cottage with all its history.

We stayed at this cottage with another couple as a mini vacation. Fantastic location! The cottage is laid out with a comfortable living room, kitchen facing out to the property, and bedrooms with en suite bathrooms at either side of the cottage. We enjoyed sitting around the fire on the back patio which is reached from the kitchen, watching the deer munch on apples. I used to live in Mendocino and felt quite nostalgic.The house is a quick drive to Harvest Market in Fort Bragg for groceries, as well as into Fort Bragg for restaurants. We drove out to Ten Mile Beach and the Old Smith Ranch trail which is definitely worth a visit as it overlooks Ten Mile River. We will return soon!

Loved this property with an apple orchard … super cute and clean, deer visit to enjoy the fallen apples; close to the wonderful Mendocino Botanical Gardens: also had fun on the Pudding Creek rail bikes and enjoying great ocean views. A perfect getaway

This beautiful property is a perfect place for a getaway. We were greatly impressed by the amazing story of the home. The home is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The host is very kind and helpful. A diaper pail was provided without request. We could not be more satisfied. There was a lot for my toddler to explore - the old water tower, the apple trees, the hammock, the old shacks and the deer. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful home and yard

This place is absolutely incredible! The home is a beautifully remodeled, cozy farmhouse. The yard is huge with large old trees, a fire pit and a hammock. My family and I really enjoyed our time here and will be back!

We absolutely loved staying here! The property is so Peaceful surrounded by deer in the morning & evening. Sitting out by the fire pit just soaked in the beautiful surroundings. The house is so cute! Excellent choice for two of us during our stay in the Mendocino area. Two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, gave us our privacy and the common living area and kitchen were comfortable and functional. Lovely being on the old orchard property and having space around us - and living lawn ornaments (a family of deer!).

Fort Bragg Heaven

My wife and I were back for our second stay at this property. Serene, peaceful and quiet. Mornings in the sun watching the family of dear munch on apples. A few blocks from the ocean. The house is charming, clean and comfy. We will be back again next year!!!
