"Alan and Laura are excellent hosts, going above and beyond in communication, cleanliness, helpfulness, right down to a nice bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. Our stay was everything we had hoped for, as the location was very near Inverness without being in the thick of things. The bed was comfortable, as was the nice hot shower. When we visit Scotland again, we will definitely stay with Alan and Laura again. Thanks so much for your kindness and hospitality!"

"RENTER BEWARE! I stayed at this property May of 2024. The Host lists his properties on multiple sites so he will often double book. He double booked and asked to switch me to one of his other properties which I agreed to. Once I arrived it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned since the previous guests. Towels on the floor, dirty linens, food spoiling, trash about. I contacted him and he didn’t respond, I had to spend an entire night of my trip shopping for fresh linens and laundering the towels,...

"We have just returned from a lovely stay in Lossiemouth. Stuart was on hand to direct us to the flat which was a stones throw from the beach and play park. The flat slept six comfortably, my husband and I and four kids. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to others."

"The apartment is completely refurbished and the furniture is new. It is incredibly well equiped for long stays (specially the kitchen), and the owner is always helpful and kind, with good communication every time. The bedroom has a pretty good matress, and the shared living room is charming and comfortable (with a 3D TV and plenty of films available to see). Also, a Nairn is a quiet and good place to stay while visiting the whole of the Highlands."

"I stayed here for a 2 day conference in Boat of Garten and was within a 5 minute walk of the venue. Great comms from the hosts and place was perfectly presented and very comfortable; you might want to place another comment book in there as the existing one is full although it was fun reading through people's thoughts and and suggestions and you have clearly followed up on these. "The first 3 nights we were there the bed frame wasn’t stable and wooden slats either broke or fell out. The toilet wouldn’t always flush. I had to take the tank lid off and push down on the blue ball so the tank would fill with water. Then we were able to flush. Rental agency claimed toilet flushed ok when they supposedly fixed bed slats. Living room loveseats very uncomfortable. One has no cushion and you feel the wooden slats only. "

Roads around the property are farm tracks so a little care needed. We found the road past the care home a better route to and from the property.
