"Unique property, staff was friendly and accommodating and there was a nice breakfast provided in the morning. Kids liked staying here, as there were 3 beds in our room so they didn't have to share. Our only complaint would be the bugs and spiders in the room. It is a "cottage style" vibe, so if you are looking for fancy, it might not be your place."

"Very cute place loved the private beach . The brown tinged water and smell was a bit of a turn off even though they have a water softener and everything in place. Also, I found the floors a bit dirty/sticky. It’s not well marked the house itself, a local had to help us find our spot. It was my first time using this check-in and had no internet so it made things a bit challenging for me."

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "Sin duda un sitio precioso y espectacular, con muchas actividades para familia, baloncesto, gimnasio y otros deportes para practicar. El desayuno o no estaba incluido pero tiene buen precio y estaba muy completo. La atención muy correcta. Las vistas al lago eran espectaculares, además la habitación cuenta con una terraza. Cenamos allí, porque no hay muchas opciones cerca. Las raciones eran muy grandes. Nachos Thai, Aros de cebolla caseros y batata frita. Sin duda de los mejores sitios. Lo Escogimos por estar céntrico en Cape Breton."
