One of three similar abodes located on a beautiful working farm, it forms the perfect base for a family holiday. Walking trails start right from the doorstep, guiding you through the area’s breathtaking scenery. There’s plenty to do nearby, such as taking the kids for a hair-raising experience on the rides at Paultons Park (11 miles). Salisbury (9 miles) is fab for a day out, with its medieval cathedral where you can see Britain’s tallest spire, explore Britain’s largest Cathedral Close and Cloisters, see the world’s oldest mechanical clock and the best-preserved original 1215 Magna Carta. In the mood for a day by the sea? The vibrant coastal town of Lymington is 22 miles away and Bournemouth beaches 20 miles or you can hit the shops and museums in Southampton (20 miles).

On arrival, walk along the short path to reach the wooden front door, then step inside to find a warm and welcoming countryside retreat. The hub of the home is the open-plan living area. In the lounge, sink into the comfortable seating for six and switch on the Smart TV for some relaxation in the evenings. Decorative touches like carefully chosen artwork enhance the space. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking up a storm, to be shared at the charming farmhouse-style dining table, flanked with a bench and chairs. Stylish French doors fill the space with light and provide lovely views out to the terrace. There’s also a handy downstairs WC just off the main living space. Upstairs, three beautifully styled bedrooms provide a calm setting for a great night’s sleep. An elegant family bathroom with a walk-in shower and WC completes the inside space.
