L casa es genial, pero en las zonas comunes hace tanto calor que no se podía estar, calor insoportab

Bonita vivienda en un pueblo estratégicamente situado para conocer la zona

Casa muy bien cuidada, limpia, espaciosa y decorada con mucho gusto. Los dueños y la persona encargada de entregarnos las llaves han sido muy atentos y agradables. El pueblo es muy bonito y está bien ubicado para conocer la zona. La única pega que encontramos es la necesidad de desplazarse en coche para cualquier compra ya que el pueblo no dispone de comercios.

This was the second year in a row that we have stayed in this beautiful villa, and it was just as wonderful as the first. Everything you could need for a relaxing holiday as the kitchen, indoor and outdoor living areas are very well equipped, so much so that the villa feels like a home not just a holiday rental. Super comfy beds, air con and shuttered windows meant we slept well even during 36 degree weather. We made easy day trips to Girona, Banyoles, and the Empuries ruins, and shorter trips to Pals, La Bisbal and local beaches. Highly recommend!

Living history

We were in Europe for 3 weeks and this was the best. When I found this house, I moved other plans around so we could stay here 5 days. It's like your staying at a living museum. Eating at all the great restaurants around house and driving to a new beach everyday was a dream vacation for us. The house has many unique details and modern uodates as described, but its better in real life. The pool has a deep end that's close 4.5 ft., that surprised me. They provide propane for BBQ grill. Magic in Peratallada

Truly a magical place with a surprisingly fun small pool that the kids could not get enough of and delightful back patio. Fully equipped kitchen with 2 dishwashers, great laundry room with a washing machine and dry racks, AC in every bedroom but not the common areas. Would not bring people with mobility issues due to steep stairs and uneven surfaces of the town. Peratallada is truly special, located near to many beautiful beach towns and places of interest and our host Chris was wonderful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Medieval castle town villa

The stone villa is one of the most unique stays we’ve ever had and may ever have. It’s located in a castle town in the middle of the beautiful country side. The house is large and the pool is nice if it’s hot outside. The only negative is that the bedroom and hallway on the kitchen floor has a strong sewage odor. It was hard to be in that area and this issue should be addressed.

Lovely relaxing stay in gorgeous village house

Our group of two families aged from 20 to 60 years had a lovely time in this beautiful home in the heart of characterful Peratallada. It was so convenient for retaurants, bars, and little shops, being located right in the middle of the village. The house was large and comfortable. Beds were super comfortable, air conditioning in all bedrooms was very welcome and worked a treat. The kitchen was very well equipped and we ate many delicious home prepared meals in between our visits to several amazing local restaurants. We worried the pool would be a bit small for us, but it was a good size for us all to cool off after a hot day! We enjoyed a few city days via the easily accessed train station at Flaca and visited several different beaches- Platja Grau in Pals was a favourite for easy accessibility and relaxed vibe. Communication with owners and then agent was brilliant from start to finish. Thank you!

Lovely stone villa

We loved the quirky and fun stone villa in Peratallada. The location was great! In the center of a village from the 13th century. The villa was updated and comfortable with a great pool in the backyard for a dip after a long hot day. The wonderful beaches were 15-30 minutes away but easy to drive to. The only issues were bugs to be sprayed around the house, and a loss of A/C in the master bedroom on the last two days of our trip. The communication with the rental agency was not always clear but they were very nice. The town had great restaurants but no market so be sure to buy food outside of town. Overall a great VRBO experience.

Wonderful stay in a memorable, one-off home

The communication from the owners was excellent from start to finish, we felt very welcome staying in their place… …which is a complete one-off, a quirky medieval stone villa with all the modern appliances and facilities you could ask for, e.g. modern kitchen, excellent wifi, sky tv, loads of communal space, bbq and even a small pool. We were six adults, staying to celebrate a significant birthday, and had the most memorable long weekend. Thank you to Chris and Howard for letting us enjoy their Spanish haven.

Magnificent home

We were a family of 6 and stayed for a week. The house is absolutely exquisite - beautiful medieval village, very spacious house, with a lovely pool and all the required amenities for a weeks stay. Parking is a 2 min walk from the house since cars don't travel in the village. Short drives (20-30 min) to many of the places we visited every day. Chris was helpful and responsive to all our questions. As others have written, the house is even better than the description and pictures, so really this is a highly recommended and wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful property in historic Catalunya

Absolute wow factor throughout the property which is in the centre of Peratallada, a stones throw from the square with restaurants bars and shops. The real gem is the pool which is an oasis on hot days. It was 40+ when we visited and it was a great way to cool down. Communication with the host, Chris and the local agent couldn't have been better. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful house in a great location

We had a brilliant stay in Peretallada. The house is very spacious and very well equipped. It is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The aircon in the bedrooms was welcome in the evening. Peretallada is a great village with super restaurants. We know this area well as we have been coming for many years and it was lovely to find such a good rental property. We will certainly stay again.

Perfect place to explore Costa Brava

The stone villa was a sight to behold and Peratallada was a beautiful quiet(while we were there 3/29-4/12/22) cobblestoned gem. Great, easy access to the seaside, other medieval towns, ancient Iberian ruins and all things Dali!

Een prachtig, authentiek en tegelijk modern, ruim en zeer goed geoutilleerd huis middenin het goed bewaarde en gezellige dorp Peratallada. We hebben met 7 volwassenen een geweldige week gehad in dit huis. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien, is schoon, sfeervol en de tuin groot genoeg om met zijn allen in te relaxen en te bbq'en. De bedden zijn uitstekend en de slaapkamers zijn voorzien van airco, de stilte en rust zorgen vervolgens voor een goede nachtrust. De gastvrouw Christine communiceert heel goed en is ontzettend vriendelijk en bijzonder hulpvaardig, nogmaals veel dank aan haar! Misschien een suggestie; we konden het huis niet vinden bij aankomst, een iets betere handleiding had ons een uur zoeken bespaard... Verder is alles echt top!
