One of my favorite STRs I’ve stayed at. Quiet location, beautiful setting, yet a short walk to the beach. House is spacious yet cozy with tons of porches to relax. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Amazing house for family vacation

We had a wonderful summer beach trip with our family of 5 adults, 1 child, and our dog, Hunter. The house was the perfect layout for privacy of the different family groups that converged together for the week. The house is beautiful (great artwork!), secluded and quiet, and convenient to the amenities of Folly Beach. The outdoor areas were extremely pleasant even during the hot days and the short walk to the beach was easy. We lived in Charleston for many years and love Folly Beach dearly. This home provides the best of Folly!

Family and Friends

I have such praise for this house and how it met our needs. The first week, the house accommodated my family, which included teens and a toddler. The second week, it accommodated a group of my women friends. Having rented quite a few beach houses over the years, this one is clearly superlative. The hosts were quite generous with many supplies (beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach wagon, kitchen and bath accoutrements), and the house is set up for ease of use with many breezy porches and accessory sitting areas. The gem of the house is the pond at the back, where there is a steady visitation of low-country bird life. We saw osprey, sharp-shinned hawks, and many types of herons and egrets. The walk to the beach is not too lengthy and we were nicely placed along the stretch of Folly Beach to have plenty of space and fun on the beach.

Gorgeous Hideaway

We had a wonderful week with our adult daughters and 2 small dogs at this lovely home tucked away on a quiet street on Folly. The views are spectacular. My husband enjoyed fishing out back. The walk to the beach was easy, but our access was closed due to renourishment. Dianne let us know ahead of time and we got a golf cart to get to the other open access points. The whole house is well appointed. We are already talking about booking again next year.

Wonderful home

We had such an amazing time. The house is so spacious and has everything you need. Kitchen is stocked well with appliances. We enjoyed all the amenities. My kids and grandkids played darts and fished in the pond. The walk to the beach is so easy. My grandson cried because we had to leave. He asked if we could buy the house and stay there forever. We’ll definitely be back!

Great week!

This place is really awesome! We loved the marsh setting - with a short walk to the beach. It was a perfect fit our six adult family. The covered patio/yard is great and was home to many games of corn hole and croquet! Every morning, I enjoyed an early cup of coffee on the main deck overseeing the beauty of the marshlands. Great way to start the day. We'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing spot at Folly.

Great time

The comfortable home was well appointed and made this stay very enjoyable. Enjoy the quiet location with a beautiful view of the marsh or a short walk and you are on the beach. The eclectic “fun area” with dart board, corn hole and other games was fun to hang out in.

Great Home!

My family of 6 found the property to be one of the best rentals we have ever stayed at. The home was extremely clean, as my wife always feels she needs to clean first thing on arrival of even a hotel room but not this time. She never got a cleaning rag out one time. The home has the best location ever with seclusion, no traffic, and no beach goers parking on the street in your yard. The privacy awesome, our kids when not at the beach were kept busy by the dart board, cornhole and fishing. Having coffee on the screened porch watching graceful birds in the marsh was a great way to start the morning. We anticipated having a bug problem being so close to the marsh but that worry was not well founded. We had little to no problem with this during the day or after dark. The host was readily available and was quick to respond to any communication. We had no problems or concerns with the property so can't speak about that aspect, but feel our host would have taken good care of any problems should they had arose. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes so golf cart rental is really not necessary. We learned from the locals that Folly Beach is has the best waves for surfing, and the home owners happen to have surf boards which our boys thoroughly enjoyed and learned to use. The check in/out process was extremely easy and painless to say the least. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who would like a great and relaxing vacation at Folley Beach. I would not hesitate to rent any property from this host!

Unbelievable marsh front oasis, amazing house, beach super close!

This house is truly special. Tons of space. So many little nooks to hang out in. Three living rooms! All the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some great meals. We especially loved hanging out on the covered porches and had so much fun playing games under the house. There are so many cool places to hang out on this giant property, you feel like you could explore for days and still find new magic spots. We were also surprised how close the beach was, just two blocks! You can even hear the waves at night from the house. Not to mention it was great being able to wash off in the big outdoor shower when we got back. We came for a little beach getaway and wanted to have our own space away from all the crowds and I don't think there is a better place on Folly for just that. It feels like your own private island but with town just a short bike ride away. We will definitely be making this our "go to" rental and hope to return here often.
