We really enjoyed our stay at Slightly Off Center- Surf. The plunge pool was really refreshing after a day at the beach, and our baby loved splashing in it. It was the perfect temperature for her, not too hot or too cold. The pool area is very private and fenced in all the way around. We never saw our neighbors while we were in the pool, but we could hear them. Just a head's up - there are a few steps in the patio area that could be tricky for toddlers. Beach towels were provided, and it was nice not to have to pack bulky towels in our luggage. The huge kitchen island and open kitchen were really great. Usually on vacations, our groceries take up all the counter space and we're stepping on each other in the kitchen, but we had plenty of space here. I would bring extra supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, trash bags) especially if you have 8 people staying here. We were given about 2 of everything to start us off. I also brought my own dishwashing soap and a sponge and was glad I did as none was provided. There are 2 parking spots under the house and enough room for a golf cart. There's some street parking right in front of the house if you are lucky enough to get it. At this particular unit, there was a utility pole right behind the parking area so it was a bit tricky to back out. We were given a couple of different ways to contact management during our stay, and they were always quick to respond even on the weekends. I always worry about booking properties like this because you never know how responsive they will be, but they were really on top of it. This location was a little noisy for us, we prefer a more quiet relaxing vacation. But if you plan on going out to dinner every evening, getting coffee in the morning, or shopping, this location is perfect for you. It's pretty difficult to park on Center Street so it was really convenient to be able to walk everywhere. But it does stay pretty noisy all hours of the day because it's right in the center of all the action. I'd book it again just for the pool.
