Great beach front location at Folly Beach

We loved this place! Great for a large groups d the location can’t be beat. Long steep staircase to entry and elevator not in use, so probably not a great option for walking impaired. But we loved our stay.

Spring Beach Trip

We had a great time at this house! It is extremely roomy and we loved being right on the beach. Short drive to downtown Folly and Charleston. We had an awesome trip! Hot tub wasn’t treated and cleaned when we arrived, but working with Avant Stay to get this problem solved was entirely easy. I would 100% stay again with a house owned by Avant Stay.

Beautiful view

This is a beautiful property. Right on the beach you cannot get any closer. Close to delicious restaurants and has a very large kitchen perfect for large groups. Our only issue is the elevator was out of order and we were traveling with our older parents. In order to get to the kitchen and main bedroom and den area. There are approximately 35 steps. That is a lot for people who have mobility issues. The HVAC and the main sleeping floor was out. However, the management team was very responsive and got it fixed within two days. For the cost of this unit there are beautiful furnishings, and they are very comfortable. I just believe that the elevator should be working for the 1200 a night you pay.

Great Location for family & friends

We used the property for a low key new years. It was a great location right on the beach, but still close enough to town. Perfect for morning walks/runs, dolphin watching and relaxation. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Wonderful, Easy & Comfortable Beach Getaway

This house is beautiful and the location is perfect. Minutes from the Folly Pier and an easy drive into Charleston / King Street for day out shopping. Everything was easy from beginning to end. The hosts are extremely attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable. I highly recommend this property for your next Folly Beach getaway.

Reunion

The home is in a beautiful location and has plenty of room. It is right on the beach and the views are wonderful. The home was clean and worked well for our reunion. Considering the daily cost of the home we were quite surprised and disappointed in the number of maintenance issues that need to be addressed. We informed the company of the problems and hope that they will be taken care of for future guests.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay at this home in Folly Beach. The house was super clean and tidy when we arrived! They had everything we needed during our stay and the Avant Stay team was very tentative to our needs and making sure there were no issues regarding our stay. I would say the one problem we had was that the ceiling was leaking from the vents at one point, i’m sure due to the humidity outside and the cooler temperature inside the house. Overall great experience and would book this home again!

Overall it was good, one room had trash on the floor. There were not enough dish towels for kitchen and there were no hot pads. There was a step that was broken that could have posed a danger. The broken crack in the driveway was worrisome, so we just avoided it.

Great Location

Fantastic location right on the beach. Home is very spacious, clean and four of the five bedrooms are oceanfront with great views. The upstairs and downstairs porches are wonderful. Look forward to staying here again.

Great Stay at Folly Beach

We had a fantastic stay at the Poseidon in Folly Beach. The location is in a great section of the beach that has low traffic and is very beautiful. The property was well-maintained and had everything we needed. The only issue for older guests would be that the elevator was not working, but that was not an issue with our group.

Unforgettable Experience: Comfort, Style and Location

This property is AMAZING! Spacious, welcoming, clean. I loved that the master suite was on the main floor with the other bedrooms below. We loved waking up every moring to vibrant hues of the sunrise, we loved the beach just steps from the door. The property managers are very quick to respond if you have any questions. Easy check in, no problems. The house was well equipped to host families. The location is perfect, the people are great. I would live here permanently, that's how fantastic it was. The elevator was not working during our stay...but that really didn't matter to us, we prefer the stairs anyways!!!! Hope to come back again for a longer stay.

Big house at Folly Beach

Large home with tons of space inside and out for our big family. The home is stylishly furnished and well equipped. We enjoyed dinner on the porch that seats 10-12 plus all the Adirondack chairs on both decks. Most bedrooms have ensuite baths and TV for privacy when desired. The HVAC wasn't working upstairs so portable units were brought in. Unfortunately, it took a while for them to catch up on the warm day of our arrival. An HVAC company came out but needed to order parts to complete the repair. The portable units worked ok for us as the weather had cooled during our stay. Kudos to the cleaning team as the house was immaculate. There are two or three of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay. The owners do need to address the blinds and curtains as well as some other general maintenance to make this a repeatable rental.

Family beach trip

The property is in a beautiful spot with great access and views of the ocean. My family had a great time. The house was clean but not well maintained. One exterior door was broken. The kitchen had only 8 forks and no wine opener. Several light bulbs needed to be replaced. I'd read another review before booking so was not surprised. We still enjoyed our stay.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS A WORKING ELEVATOR. A LOT OF STEEP STEPS FOR 60 YEAR OLDS CARRYING GROCERIES AND SUITCASES. OTHERWISE, IT WAS PERFECT. WE HAD GROCERIES DELIVERED AND SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING! HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS HOME!

Great location poorly maintained

The location is fantastic. But there are many fantastic oceanfront rental options. Was clean and AvantStay as a manager was great. BUT … the house needs some maintenance. Many light bulbs were blown (all kitchen lights didn’t work), broken switches, door handles, toilet seat, doors wouldn’t close all the way. Fireplace didn’t work (we stayed in winter). Perhaps nit picky but this is a thousand dollar plus a night rental. I was expecting better.

Amazing View

Lots of stairs but they were worth it… amazing view of the Ocean and beach from the Balconies and the hot tub. Plenty of tables and chairs both in house and balconies. Would rent it again.

Great location and house for a family

It is a great family house. Chloe and Jake were wonderful. They were quick to replace the grill that was not usable and to bring us extra items that were missing. We had one day that plumbers were there to replace one toilet and repair the other 4. We had an infant with us and the living area carpet was really dirty. Pillows and blankets in closet were not clean. The washer was full of sand. Which was most likely the last people that stayed there, didn’t follow direction. For the price I felt things should of been cleaner.
