Loved the home! So nice being right on the beach and plenty of space to stretch out. The home is defiantly a “beach home”and is a little dated but did not detract from our enjoyment. Folly Beach in the winter is the best.

The house is beautiful and the location is perfect. My three friends and my little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel were there for first three nights and my husband joined me for the last two after friends went home. Everyone was positively impressed with the house and we all hope to return someday.

We had a problem with the main floor a/c upon arrival. Called the property manager and they had someone there the next morning (Sunday) to fix it. It was great after that. Suggestions: most of the floors need to be updated, shrubs in back need to be trimmed, some trim pieces inside need to be repaired. Likes: 2 fridges, access to ocean, great mattresses, well equipped, amazing artwork.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband and I took our grown children and our granddaughter (20 months old) to play at the beach. The home is comfortable and spacious and family friendly. The kitchen was heavily used as we tend to love to cook. The pots/pans situation was a bit challenging, but we made do and had wonderful meals. The beach was so close allowing for easy access back and forth to the house as needed. The family room and dining table allowed for everyone to have space when we had a rainy day, and we were stuck inside for part of the day. Everyone had a great time!

The house and location were both great. There were a few minor hiccups like not receiving the code until after check in time and also the propane tank being pretty much empty. But other than those two things everything was top notch. Would definitely come back here again.

The house was the perfect size for the whole family and the porch was where we spent most of our time! The 2 refrigerators in the kitchen were a huge bonus as well.

So close to being 5 stars

We had a wonderful family getaway. The home was clean and comfortable but there were a few issues that would earn it 5 stars. The deck and beach were amazing. There was a bush that obstructed about 25% of the view and desperately needed trimming and the public access path next to the house was overgrown and people used the property instead. Some of the dining room chairs’ cushioned seats had no screws. We could see behind the refrigerator that didn’t fit in the opening, there was unsightly dirt, loose insulation and construction debris visible. These issues didn’t spoil our stay but could be easily fixed to make it better.

Family Christmas getaway

Was the perfect place for us to all be together Comfortably to spend the Christmas holiday! Plenty of space for privacy and quiet time, while also equal space for family game night, large family dinners, etc. was just what we needed!

Family Beach Get-A-Way

Thanksgiving 2023

The property inside and out was exactly as stated on the website. Being directly on the beach was great! Check-in was seamless and the house overall was clean. We did find that the sheet on two of the beds were dirty so we had to wash them the first day. I would recommend this property and would stay again in the future.

Perfect beach rental!

I visited with my adult family and we spent a week here. The house really was perfect for our trip. People came and went, but at one point we had 10 people there, and we all lived and slept comfortably. The bedrooms are all spacious and the layout allowed people to either socialize or have downtime without issue. The kitchen was very well stocked (happy to report there are PLENTY of forks now!) and adequate for 10 people's food, as well as cooking meals in, which we did almost every night. There was a shortage of hand towels in the kitchen, and no cleaning sponges, so maybe bring those with you. My one suggestion: We unfortunately had several days of rain while we were there, but the only entertainment was two decks of cards. It would have been nice to have some board games available. Additionally, with the wooden Adirondack chairs on the patio, they were pretty saturated the whole time. Plastic would almost be better so we could have wiped them off. Other than that, we really didn't want for anything the whole time. I highly recommend this house, both for its interior layout as well as its location - close enough to downtown Folly to walk or bike ride easily, but far enough away to have a very secluded beach experience.

Great House. Amazing Ocean views

We had a great time at this house. Tons of room for everyone. The decor was beachy and made it comfortable for us to relax. The house could use some TLC, showers, mattresses weren't the best. No chest of drawers in the master, so hard to find a place for clothing. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, definitely needs more forks! Plenty of knives and spoons, but not enough forks. Great amount of cooking utensils, plates, etc. Amazing ocean views and back porch to hang out. Had a minor issue with one of the two refrigerators and management was super responsive, better than most places we've been, someone was there within 2hrs!
