The whole place was amazing i just dont like the capitalism of the place.. i came here pre 2015 and you had a front desk attendant. Now its some random office building ran by girls who probably know nothing about actual property management. I called thr day before confirming my reservation asking about parking and early check in and to who i ever spoke with was like "yeah parking there even if the room isnt ready is ok and we always get you checked in early." I called the day of before arriving about 30 mins and talked to some rude lady saying she knows nothing about early check in or parking and then explained she would have to call some.other office to confirm anything. Yay america and capitlism though right?

Tv malfunctioning. Bed was full of human and dog hair. Floor was peeling up and was sharp on your feet. No kitchenware at all. The toilet paper rack was hanging on my a thread. Dog barking constantly. Extremely small. For just about 300 the location is really good but that’s it. I’d rather drive a bit and get better amenities next time.

Best walkable location and super cute vintage motel vibes. Room was well decorated and stocked. Beds and pillows comfy too. Only complaint is lack of storage in the room and in the bathroom. There’s none (almost literally) but we made it work. Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous place to stay in Folly Beach! Already booked twice here. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained, the pool is perfect, and the picnic area and grill are such nice amenities to have. It really feels like a little beach oasis. Super close walk to the beach, the main streets and Bert’s. Excellent service and feels very safe and secure. Highly recommend staying here, will be back for sure!

Dirty sheets :(

This little spot was nice for a weekend getaway. Great location to walk everywhere including the beach. We rented a golf cart for fun and still walked most of the time. Our first day we noticed the sheets were dirty but they didn’t come to change them until the third day. It was 4th of July so I understand it’s hard to have a place staffed, but I think that’s kind of an emergency situation and they should’ve made amends.

Expectations met!

Walk on beach access is very close, super convenient! Nicely updated seaside motel. The only thing I really disliked was that the cleaning product smell was very strong and did not dissipate over the three days. Good that things are clean, but it was unpleasant. Parking would be better if spots were assigned to each unit. The pool is great, should’ve used it more! Needed more hooks in the room for pool, beach and regular towels. Overall, good place, easy going back and forth to the beach. Close enough to Charleston to drive in and explore daily.

Folliday Inn is a Great place to stay for a 2 night stay or perhaps a weekend trip.

The location was perfect. Plenty of parking space even if you rent a golf cart for visit at the Folliday Inn.

Perfect location

Overall, our stay at Folliday inn was great! The location was perfect and the pool area was awesome! My only complaint is the light outside the room being on all night made it hard to sleep. I also wish they had some more basic utensils provided. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we will be back.

Great location

The studio is great for a quick beach trip. Our family of 4 fit comfortably and loved the close proximity to the little downtown and the beach. Wish the studio came with parking as I can see that being a challenge during the busy time of year, luckily it wasn’t that busy when we were there.

The location of this property was great!! Short walking distance to the beach and main street. It was a cute little place as well, clean, easy check in. The only thing I was a little caught off guard with was the fact I didn't have a guaranteed parking space. There's 16 units but only 13 parking spots, so if you don't book early you're not guaranteed parking and will need to find a spot along the street. Luckily I found one close to our stay in which I just left my car there all weekend and either walked or ubered around so I wouldn't have a hard time finding a spot with everyone who comes to the beach and parks along the roads. Overall it was a great stay.

Folliday Holiday!

My daughter turned 21 on July 17th. We took a last minute trip to Folly to celebrate with 2 of her friends. I was so surprised when we found availability for 2 nights. The Folliday Inn was absolutely perfect. I couldn't get over the updates to the rooms and the property. I've been coming to Folly for 25 years, and I've stayed all over the island. I'll definitely be coming back to the Folliday Inn.
