This home is a very, VERY, tired, exhausted and neglected beach home. On the plus side, it’s in a fantastic location, right on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, located just far enough from a very busy Folly Beach. The home is a beautiful and spacious three story. It features a large living area, open kitchen and bedroom on main. Upstairs there are four bedrooms, one a very large master with a sitting area and a large bathroom. Two spacious rooms and a smaller room. Additional full bath up there for the other three bedrooms to share. The third level is a walkable rooftop. The home, while beautiful, is in a total state of neglect and very desperately in need of some TLC. There are numerous defects, including what appears to be mold in several spots. Comments written in the on-premises guest book date the mold back 2 years. Inoperative items such as ice maker, elevator, shower door, toilet paper fixtures. We cook at home a good bit and meal prep was challenging given the state of the kitchen utensils/pots/pans/etc. The parking level is littered with tired old beach chairs that no one would ever dare to sit upon along with rusty grills and LP tanks. It’d be a great home for a frat/bachelor party, it’s that kind of space…already trashed. Two of the bedrooms have two beds in them, an indication of a party house, but awkward for a family. For what we paid to stay here this week it’s embarrassing really.
