    Admire a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean from the covered veranda and the incredible rooftop terrace at this home on Folly Beach, where you'll be directly across the road from The Washout - the very best surfing spot in the area.



    This cozy home is a place for beach-goers and surfers - you can stroll across the street after a day in the waves, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and leave your swimsuits to spin in the washer/dryer under the house. There's plenty of space to relax and sip cold drinks outside, including the covered front porch overlooking the beach and the breezy upper deck with a swinging day bed, rocking chairs, and a 360-degree view of The Washout and the Morris Island Lighthouse. A small portion of the grassy yard is even fenced for your dog to enjoy safely.



    Inside, the air-conditioned living space is comfortable and casual. On one side is a living room with a large flatscreen cable TV and a selection of board games to enjoy; on the other is a full kitchen, a dining room table, and a screened door that leads to the porch out back. Bonus amenities include flatscreen TVs in both bedrooms and high-speed WiFi throughout the house.

The house was clean, the only issue and not a big deal was that the picture shows two futons in the living room, but there is a couch with a pull-out mattress. Also, the house has a gas grill, but when we tried to use it the propane tank was empty but not a big deal either. The location is great you have the view of the ocean in front of you and the marsh in the rear. It was nice to set on the front porch in the afternoon and enjoy the view and watch the surfers.

I'll start with the worst part - we had to leave after our week was over! We had an amazing week and loved the house. Steps from the beach. And a beautiful front deck to watch over the ocean. There are few things better in this world than sitting on the deck in the morning with a coffee and watching the ocean waves. So peaceful.Want to see the marsh AND the ocean, go up on the rooftop deck. The house was the perfect size for a small family. A/C was good. Kitchen was good. Host was a quick communicator. The tank on the gas grill was empty and they sent someone out the very next morning with a new tank. Would love to book again one day! As I said in the beginning, we were sad to leave.

Awesome porch across from the beach!

Loved this place. Spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the beach directly across the street. Small fenced yard was perfect for our dog! We will return!

The place needed a lot of care things were loose and not working. I reported the bathroom faucet was falling apart. and they actually asked me if I could see if something could be fixed on it. I guess they think I carry a tool pouch with me. Overall, it needed a lot of work. Inside and out. One good thing about it was I could see the ocean across the street from the balcony. that was about it.

Perfect Beach cottage

This is an older beach cottage that has been taken care of. The location is fantastic if you love peace and quiet and love the beach. The property is comfortable and clean. We hope to stay again.

Great Place and Beautiful Water Views

This location is great and without being in the center of it all but close enough to downtown Charleston for shopping and night life. Also, close to other beach towns and a short drive to be about to get out and see what this area has to offer. We also enjoyed all of the local seafood and small town shopping. Looking forward to our next visit.

My sister and I enjoyed our visit to Folly Beach.

The porch is wonderful. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for us. Cozy and comfy.

Great winter escape

Loved being able to see and hear the ocean from this comfortable cottage! We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and being so close to birds, surfers and an ocean view at the wash out. Hope to return soon!

Pretty much met expectations

Unfortunately ran into beach rejuvenation for 2.5 days. But was perfect for my wife and I as well as our dog to enjoy the feeling of being on the beach. We plan to stay again next year.

Relaxing and cozy!

We enjoyed our stay relaxing on the upper deck, large front porch and ample room in the family room. Everything was quite clean. There were a few things that we noticed that needed to be fixed, but I let the owner know.
