The host was really great with communication and I liked communicating with them. the house had updated appliances, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The heat worked well and we needed it (cool December evenings). Overall, my family enjoyed staying here, ands the location was great. The reason that I am giving this review a 4 and not a 5 has more to do with the upkeep of this house. First off, on the outside the lawn had a lot of rotting oranges on it. Not my job to rake those up. Also, the house had a new screen door and you could only open it half way! it scraped the concrete steps, and you could not walk through the door without experiencing this problem. Also, in the photos the front porch looks great and has nice paint. In person, the paint was flaking and dirty, not at all appealing. OK, so the outside is not as important as the inside to most people. The only issues with the inside was the kitchen faucet was hanging loose, and I had to tighten it myself, the bathroom sink was looks on the pedestal and I almost knocked it off when I leaned against it, and the shower stall grout needs to be cleaned or re-done. Minor issues when looked at individually. My gut feel is that they have a handyman who simply has not been doing their job. I am really trying not to be difficult here, but when you list as 'renovated', and some of the pictures (porch) do not match the actual house, you need to do something about it.
