Hi. I love the location of this house in the inlet and a quieter part of Folly! There is much less noise than there is closer to center street which is nice! The only watch out with this house is the number of stairs. If you have very young children, bring gates! if you have older guests, the stairs are a lot and the elevator is not for guests, as far as I could tell. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked and the house was pretty. I love the porches and view!

Awesome house. We had a great vacation. Pool was small and hard to get into. Not a lot of clearance for tall people. We did not get to use the pool due to weather and the water in the pool was very cold.

We had a great week at the Driftwood property. The location was really ideal - close to the beach and the activity of Folly Beach (and a short drive into Charleston), but in a very peaceful and quiet spot overlooking the tidal marsh. We loved sitting out on the screened in porch and taking runs/walks on the beach, which was only a couple of blocks from the front door. The house was very well equipped and comfortable for a family like ours or a larger group. Highly recommend.

Lovely Folly Home

We rented Driftwood for a long weekend to celebrate with our family our son’s graduation from the Citadel. The house layout was perfect for our 4 couples and 2 young adults sons. The kitchen is top notch and the house as well equipped as any we’ve stayed in. The location on the marsh, large screened porch and long dock was a perfect setting. Would love to rent this space again some time.

Great property

The house was perfect for a group of 5 couples. The property management team was responsive to our needs, and even made sure that we got a new grill within an hour of being contacted about a problem with the old one. The house was well equipped and homey. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect family vacation

We had such a wonderful visit to Folley Beach! The house was exactly what we needed. Plenty of space, big enough table for us all to sit around for meals together, gorgeous views. We lucked out and got perfect weather. Since it was February, the pool was closed to us, which we didn’t know. The kids might have gotten in, but it wasn’t available. The only complaint we had was that there wasn’t warm enough bedding. February chill was too cold for the very thin comforters that were provided. We did ask for more blankets and were given a few. It’s not really appropriate to ask guests to bring their own bedding, which the rules state but it wasn’t feasible with the long distance we were traveling to get there. But besides that, we had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely return!

Beautiful home in Folly Beach

Loved staying at Driftwood. Visiting Charleston for my daughter’s wedding. Not only is it beautiful but well stocked. Close to the beach. The view from the screened in deck overlooking the marsh was spectacular. Enjoyed drinking our morning coffee here. Thanks for sharing your home with us

Perfect beach house

Driftwood is absolutely beautiful. The view from the porch is both serene and peaceful. The house is clean, kitchen very well equipped, beds so comfortable and we loved the way it was decorated. Our family made many happy memories there.

Spacious and Well-Appointed Home

This is a beautiful home located in scenic Folly Beach. There is plenty of room for family and friends to spread out and enjoy themselves, and the kitchen and dining area accomodate meal preparations for a large group. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. One is a master suite, and the two others are a bedroom with a king bed connected to another bedroom suitable for children through a Jack & Jill bathroom (perfect for parents and children). There is another large ensuite king bedroom on the second floor, and a larger ensuite bedroom with two large beds on the third floor. Those who have difficulty with stairs should note that the house is accessed by a modest set of steps, and all the kitchen and living room areas are on the second floor via another set of stairs. They did not provide any difficulty for our family. It was a bit too cold to spend much time in the semi-exposed basement garage playing foosball or pool, but I would suggest bringing your own cue sticks if you want to use the pool table during your stay, simply because it is obvious the cues have had hard use. The house was clean and prepared for us when we arrived. The house was clean and prepared for us when we arrived. The information that was sent to us covered all the bases of our arrival and departure, and MyOceanRental was even on call on New Year's Day for a question I needed answered. Their communication is very good, and help make for an enjoyable and stress-free stay.

Good Value good location

Really enjoyed the layout of this home as it offers 5 bedrooms in a unique fashion. 1st floor king with jack & jill bathroom leading to 2 twins is great for parents with kids. Having a king master also on 1st floor was nice. 2nd floor king suite was also good. 3rd floor 2 queens suite was ideal for a couple of teens to have their own place. Beds were comfy, property clean, kitchen well stocked, bathrooms nice. The pool is a small dipping/sitting pool under deck. End of dock is set on a small branch off the main river so not great for fishing as its 10 feet across and shallow but nice place to take in a sunset. Short walk to town. Overall, great value for price

Great family together time

Everyone enjoyed the location, easy access to the beach, easy access back and forth to Charleston. We did not take advantage of the all the beach goodies and bikes or golf cart or the small pool but if we had kids that would have been a big lift. As older adults, use of the elevator would have helped accessibility greatly. We loved the decor, the amenities and the layout but the furniture (sofa and chairs) on the deck were pretty well-worn and a let down from every other aspect of the visit. Everyone had a great visit and comfortable time. We would return.

Great family vacation getaway

We stayed at the Driftwood house with our extended family of ten including adults, kids and toddlers. The house is great for multiple families. It's a easy ~5 minute walk to the beach and short golf cart ride to Center Street. Beautiful home, well equipped and clean. Great views of sunset from the back screened-in porch.

Kitchen was well equipped. Home was beautifully decorated. Construction next door ruined the time we had on the porch overlooking the marsh for three days. Pool was not appealing. No closet (locked) or place to hang clothes in master bedroom. Poor lighting in master bath. Otherwise loved the place!
