Interior is nice, listing wasnt accurate

The place was extremely clean and interior was as depicted. The outside however had construction going on right outside the back window with condos going up (which blocked the beautiful view that was in the listing when we booked) . The wifi had multiple issues but being fairly tech savvy i was able to firgure it out. Other than that location was excellent and the place was very nice.

Great but…

It’s beautiful and in a great location. However, there was some cleanliness questions in the bathroom, the Internet never worked, and the host never came to fix the problem the whole time we were there. And when we were given a late check out, that information was not communicated with the women cleaning the place because they showed up an hour before we had to leave. I was a little bit disappointed in some of those things, but overall the state was nice the place is beautiful. However, if you have office work to do from your vacation rental, the Internet here isn’t going to give you what you need.

Geräumiges Apartment für die ganze Familie mit einigen kleineren Mängeln

Das Apartment ist mit drei Schlafzimmern und drei Bädern ideal für eine Familie. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten kann man gut zum Strand laufen. Das Apartment war sauber und die Betten bezogen als wir kamen. Was uns nicht gefiel ( ich habe darüber der Agentur direkt zu Beginn eine Email geschickt, aber keine Antwort erhalten): es sind einige Sachen kaputt,z. B. hat die Couch ein großes Loch, im Schlafzimmer fehlen Knöpfe an den Schubladen, auf dem Balkon sind Tische mit abgesplitterter Oberfläche, der Balkon macht keinen einladenden Eindruck, um dort zu sitzen. Der Blick ins Grüne ist kaum vorhanden aufgrund des Hauses, das dort gebaut wurde. Wenn der Boden erneuert würde, einige Möbel ausgetauscht und Möbel lackiert würden, wäre es eine superschöne Wohnung, die zzr Zeit leider ( zu) viele Gebrauchsspuren aufweist

Not what is presented in this listing.

I sent the following to Vacasa Folly with no response. Regrettably I am leaving it here for future renters. It saddens me for the sake of the owners that two homes were built and completely obstruct what was once a spectacular view. I reserved this property specifically for what was shown in the pictures and what was also described as “the perfect place to enjoy island sunsets”. We were a party of 3 and certainly didn’t need a condo this large but the view sold me. Considering I booked the property in January I tried to give the benefit of the doubt that the construction was new and the listing had not been updated however a local resident confirmed that is not the case. Aside from the view, the condo was quite pleasant. It was spacious. Could use some updating (the couch) but overall very clean. Our check in experience was good and your team is very thorough with informational texts and emails, with the exception of this email. I rely heavily on the property owners to provide an accurate description of the property I am choosing and often will return to the same locations when I like them. Sadly this will not be the case for this condo, nor can I confidently recommend this location to others who may visit Folly beach. Please make this right for your future guests by updating your listing so that they can make an informed decision based on their needs and what is most important to them. For me it was all about the view.

Marsh retreat

This condo was perfect for the five of us. The place was clean, three good size bathrooms and the king bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Folly Beach was a short walk and Charleston was a easy drive. We had no troubles with checking in. The fridge had an ice maker which was handy. One outlet in the main bedroom does need replacing. The couch cover had a stain. It was not noisy at night. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

Decent location, rental needs some attention to detail

This rental is centrally located, and the building itself is well-maintained. The rental unit, however, was somewhat disappointing. It needs a good deep-clean, and some of the more detailed maintenance work had been neglected. For example, many of the lampshades and picture frames had not been dusted, and there was visible dust on the ceiling fans and heating vents. Also, the toilet in the front bathroom made a loud noise (it sounded like a loud screech) when flushed, meaning it was basically unusable, especially at night. There was only one spare roll of toilet paper in the entire unit, and no tissues available at all. There are also some VERY obvious patches in the wall that need sanding and repainting. The WiFi password was not provided at check in, and when we texted to ask for it, we were asked to verify all of our check-in information before it was finally provided. We were also very much looking forward to the the lovely view off of the living room and primary bedroom, and were extremely disappointed to see that the photos in the listing were outdated, and that another property was now blocking that view. The photos in the listing are very deceptive, and there is no view to speak of, just the backside of a blue house. That being said, the rental was fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. I feel like a little more attention to detail and some consideration for guest comfort would go a long way. Also, listing photos need to be updated ASAP.

Great location. A few requests

Wonderful stay. Gave wrong check in number. Resolved in minutes. Bathroom near twin bedroom makes a crazy alarm type screech for three minutes after being flushed. Jacuzzi did not work in Master bath. Toilets need to be replaced with newer models (handicap height). But we enjoyed our stay.

Great vacay

Three of us stayed three nights for a little spring break getaway. The location is great-close to everything. We drove to the beach and never paid for parking because we found spots. Parking got higher every day we were there-going from $20-$30 with each day that got closer to the weekend. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch each afternoon.
